Kant's Copernican Turn - Kant's Project (Bernstein - 2007)

J.M. Bernstein discusses Kant's overall project through his famous Copernican Turn. This is from the first lecture of a course on Kant's Third Critique (The Critique of Judgment) as part of the so-called Bernstein Tapes. I thought it provided a good introduction to Kant. Note, the audio has been edited.

Funny story, I listened to these lectures many years ago in a tent while reading Kant. Being in college my leases never gave me the summers so I just camped all summer. It was raining for days straight in Kansas and I was worried about tornado activity. These lectures got my mind off the conditions (of possibility). 🤪

Yeah it is Kant for everyone, lol. The two professors I learned Kant from were more narrowed in on some problems they were writing about. That’s what I mean, he focuses on the whole project, or projects. I recommend his Hegel lectures too. Dr. Bernstein is definitely brilliant.
