I’m heading to Kansai Gaidai this Spring and I am excited but EXTREMELY nervous. I have no clue how I am going to pack all my clothes, coats, and bedding. Also I’m just nervous over planning meals and learning where everything is on campus.

Noah here; I wouldn't worry too much about packing, I found that I overpacked a fair bit. As far as coats go, it's mid-November right now and still about 65 degrees fahrenheit on average. That isn't to say that it won't get a bit chillier, but I'd focus more on jackets and sweaters than full-on coats. They provide a fitted sheet, a normal sheet, and a comforter, as well as the mattress/bedframe (big wooden box, basically), so all I'd pack is a quilt/medium-thickness blanket if you'd like. The meal planning is a little tricky because ISU's program is a tuition-only exchange. Some people get a meal card, but with ISU you essentially buy all food out-of-pocket. Fortunately, there are tons of stores such as the Mandai, Welcia, and Izumiya within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Campus navigation is a cinch, there's a big map when you walk in the front gates that has all the buildings marked out (in English), and the campus is considerably smaller than ISU.
