For people who wonder, The song is called Waltz from Sleeping Beauty by Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky.

Mai is my fav anime character of all time...so beautiful...so mysterious.

i'm not sure why, but i LOVE IT when mai shouts "SAYURI!"

She has a chopping hand reserved for each of them. Right hand for Sayuri, left for Yuichi.

Mai's story is defiently the strongest, most powerful and the one that brings me to tears everytime i watch Mai's episodes over and over. I wish there was a novel on just Mai's story. It would be amazing

Kanon is probably one of the best Japanese animes that has ever existed (in my opinion). And this is one my favorite scenes in Kanon :)

Concordo, é uma pena que não tem quase reconhecimento aqui no Brasil e as pessoas conhecem apenas Clannad e Angel Beats. Kanon foi o primeiro anime sem ser de luta que assisti. E por causa dele abri minha mente pra novos animes de drama. Sem dúvidas um grande clássico dos animes.

The song isn't "Once Upon a Dream" from Disney's Sleeping Beauty. However, it is from Sleeping Beauty. Just the ballet that Tchaikovsky composed. This waltz is the sixth piece in Act 1.

Seen a couple of lists on best characters on this anime. Best part is that we dont have to choose, cause they are ALL in it. The ending of the dance scene was kinda expected, cause it felt very Cinderela (perhaps the reason they put another disney movie's song in it). And becuase it was expected, I kinda understood why the dance ended. However, I was hoping that they would have a second dance to make up for the interupted one.

@funnyshinigami AH I agree with you! I have played the game and Nayuki to me was the best girl, followed by Mai. So even though they are cousins, it totally can happen. It used to not even be that big of a deal if cousins got together. Nayuki's is my favorite path to take in the game.
