The forest department and organisations should take initiative to plant fruit trees....rice...wheat....pea...grass etc in the vacant space among plantations and bare land rather than giving trees to school children on june 5th every year....it is a futile excercise....no plants survive...the dictum of planting ten trees when cutting one tree to be followed in forests...
