The step by ( very slow ) step conversion of a Renault Kangoo to a luxurious off grid, full size Campervan....only smaller :-) It has solar , 220Volt, an Autoterm 2kW night heater, toilet, outdoor shower, fresh and grey water tanks, 88Ah AGM battery and much more. Stay tuned for part 3

Love it so far, need to see part 3! My sister has a Berlingo and we’ve found the main problem is not being able to use the toilet when the bed is made. Hope to see that you’ve found a way around this!

That is one thing I found very important as well. On paper it should work with the setup I have in mind. But as this is my first Kangoo, it is a lot of figuring out as the build proceeds.
The perfect fits are so satisfying to watch 😍

You are absolutely right, this is taking too long.The interior setup proved to be quite a challenge and also a lot of other projects needed attention.But there is progress!!! The Kangoo now has camouflage, lifted springs, new and bigger wheels and tiers..... I promise you, the rest of the interior is next ☺
You're about to make the best Kangoo build. I'm looking around at Doblos and Kangoos for designs for 2 people and the van being as practical as it can be. Looking great!

Thanks for the kind words. 😊 There a quite a few interesting builds out there. There is one I like a lot. The " interior" consists only of wooden crates with lids. 4 of the on one site form the bench. 2 on the other side make the kitchen. All together they make a van wide bed.
Just curious how much money did it cost to do the campervan build nice qauility ❤

The build was somewhere around €3000 for the parts. But that includes everything for the kitchen/ shower / fridge. I hope to ( finally ) finish the build this summer or autumn.

Part 3 is in the making. A lot of time goes in to the build.
I have an 08 kangoo just like this. Silver too converted into a camper. I love it. Doesn't have side doors or windows either so can fit more in build.
