He has no classical training, he is a scientist/ chemist ( very impressive imo) he truly is talented! He loves to sing as we see, he's in s rock band but wanted more so he went the show and was put together with the other 3 to form Forstella 😊 now mu favorite crossover group. Enjoy 😍

He WAS a research chemist, however now his professional musician career is longer than the chemist career. He said he forgot chemistry stuff because he had tons of things related with music to remember instead LOL. He is using his research skill for vocal harmony of Forestella now ;)

Thank you for your reaction to PITTA (Kang HyungHo of Forestella). He was working as a research chemist in Lotte BP Chemical; quite good company providing high salary when he auditioned at Phantom Singer 2. As the audition was designed for making a (good-looking) classical crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea, there were bunch of opera singers who majored in classical vocal and well-known musical actors. He was the only office worker who majored in (chemical) engineering in whole participants. But he used to sing as a vocalist in an amateur rock band (the band name was Pitta but it became Pittaband afterwards) in his leisure time. He stole the show singing the Phantom of the Opera duet song by himself. His audition clip has more than 10 millions views now only from Koreans as JTBC didn't release the video for abroad..if it was shown in the KZread at that time, he could be known to the world like Paul Potts in Braitain's Got Talent. He wanted to sing from his juvenil days but his parents didn't agree him to go to art school. So his music life started since he joined the rock band in the university. Even after graduation he continued the band and won the Grand-Prix in the labourers' band contest in Busan. His sensational audition song- the Phantom of the Opera was his killer repertoire from that contest. He used to cover Muse so he developed his falsetto that good. (He has very talented voice tho, great singing technique, too.) He said he thought he could quit from the music regretlessly with criticism he would get. But BAAMM! Thanks God he failed to quit from music! He quit from the research chemist job instead. lol He quit his research chemist job 1 year after the debut as Forestella. He would have worries and considering about career and steady salary, stable life but finally chose the life of professional musician. As a fan of him and of Forestella I truly appreciate for his decision from heart. I have been their fan for almost 8 years now... and believe me.. I still cry and have goosebumps every time I hear them.. (time in a bottle) is a masterpiece without a doubt. Kang Hyung Ho aka Pitta is just a phenomenal artist. His range is amazing. This song was his audition song to get into the show where he ended up as part of Forestella. He has a couple of albums as Pitta - I particularly love The Nation, Be The One & Icarus. I recommend watching his performance of Wishmaster (live).

The first time I saw Pitta’s cover of Wishmaster (original song by Nightwish), the previous song it had been Forestella’s cover of Nella Fantasia. Such a contrast was really jaw dropping. I really enjoy that rocker side of him. Same as Cho Mingyu performing a tango. Each one of the members of Forestella is amazing on his own; but together they become an unstoppable force of nature.

Good day thank you for your reaction. Pitta is amazing. Listen to his rendition of Queen 's To Much Love Will Kill You. It is beautiful. If you want to listen to the other 3 members solo songs , try Ko Woorim 's A Million Roses. It was used as a soundtrack of a K-Drama. A great performance. This was from a show Lotto Singer. He was on for a season. I believe 45 singers compete against each other. He came in 5th overall but received the highest scores from judges. All of his performances from this show were amazing ❤❤❤❤
