2nd half came alive when we played "total football", when we didn't backpass near our penalty area. Gil is a playmaker, making those sharp moves. Conte should start him more. Dier header should have sealed the match but his header DIEd. Royal was in the air when VAR drew the lines. Wonder how they judged this.

VAR is not killing the game. VAR is showing people up on and off the pitch for how functional their moral compass is. No one good needs to win via fraudulent play. Where’s the pride in succeeding when you shouldn’t have? That’s weak. It says a lot about people who can’t take fair decisions. It’s corruption. And the most embarrassing part is if VAR didn’t exist people would moan STILL when a decision went against them and they’ll cry and strop saying wHeRe’S tHe VaR. No, be a man and accept we weren’t good enough and that’s on the players, management & owners. Fans also shouldn’t behave poorly as that has a knock on effect. If we want to become great we have to do it the clean way. Any other way is a route to failure.

VAR has hurt Tottenham's victory this time around, but it might help them in another game. The problem is that even after watching this VAR video, Conte acted so foolishly that he received a red card. Even though winning the next match would determine the finals tournament, it seemed like they were deliberately not participating in that match to make excuses for when they lost.

Spurs' offensive options seem to be just predictable crossing in this match. Do you know how many crosses Spurs supplied? 44 all told. 44 crosses didn't lead to even a single goal. Even relegation teams or weak teams might not supply so many crosses. Conte has no conscience to use only or mainly the tactic for crosses getting too much salary.

44 crosses in one game. Obviously Conte wants to win using Perisic instead of using 2 golden boots winners. It seems difficult for Conte to give up proving Perisic was right player to recruit for this squad.

I think Perisic has been a gem so far. Sessegnon on the other hand is pacey but often fails to put in a quality cross. His composure and finishing in goal chances are also lacking.

Kane's foot is in front of the other spurs' players head. It's dumb because it's so close but you can see in the replays. Also because the ball was deflected off the defender instead of deliberately passed you take it from the spurs' guys' header as shown on the highlights. Sucks cuz it's so tight and you wonder why even question it if it is that tight but that's the reasoning I guess

It's hard to watch Spurs games these days... I've been frustrated for 90 minutes. During Pochettino, the game was cool regardless of whether he won or lost. But now... Put Conte out of office. Bring Pochettino back. He created and led the Spurs golden age and led them to the Champions League final. Kane and Son also shone the most when he was there.

At the freeze frame, the ball is already in the air off Emerson, so that is not offside for Kane. The VAR review is not clear enough to overrule the call on the field.

When it takes 4 minutes to check an offside regardless of whether its in the rules or not that it was offside. Its not a clear and obvious decision. VAR needs a reform. Get rid of the lines, put it on the screens and let the ref make a decision so he can explain his calls to the players and coaches.

Been a while we scored from open play. Crosses won't win a game. There's poor link between the midfielder and strikers. It's countable how many times the opposition defence was split open. We need creative force in the midfield, and urgently. Maybe we get MADDISON asap. But in the meantime, Conte should revisit his tactics. Is it Conte that told players to be crossing the ball just anyhow? Just wondering. Maybe we'd need to revert to a 4 2 3 1 formation, the squad can carry it with Bentancur as AMF, he has shown solidity in relating with strikers. Bryan Gil should be given more time. He seems able to torment defenders. Our next match is a must win, but remember, Perisic will still play...and this scares the shit outta me🤦 COYS
