Kandi was born to be a boss. Some people just are and she was a good first choice Mr. Sharpe.

Kandi literally makes me want to go get more money! Her ambition is aspiring ! I love that she works hard and refuses to be short changed. I love that she doesn’t embellish her stories or put others down but gives truth to the matter!

Kandi is a sponge, she paid attention, built her wealth and is an exceptional business woman. I love seeing women thrive, and she's a great credit to her industry and really versatile in her artistry. Apart from what we have come to know about her from RHOA, there is many levels to Kandi and I feel like she gets judged harshly and not given her credit at times.

It's No Mystery. Mama Joyce, like my Mom, raised Kandi to be Independent, Kandi was performing with Xscape while in school but she went back and walked to get her diploma. Mama Joyce show tough love but most importantly, she Support Kandi Aspiration so she is the reason Kandi is so grounded and hardworking

Khandi has accountability

I can listen to Kandi talk about the history of this group all day! Kandi has stood her ground since the age of 14! Just ahead of her years & always worked for what she had and wanted. Even when things weren’t fair (always on the losing end) she still didn’t give in. And that is why she’s so successful. Tosha came back AFTER her solo career flopped and thought they’d just jump back in & Kandi reminded her, it’s too late!

Kandi seems like she's always smiling, even when she's not smiling, she's smiling. Watching Kandi smile so much made me smile nearly non stop thru this entire video. Kandi's so sweet, and so nice and so kind.

This interview is legendary. Kandi is one of my favorite Atlanta Housewives. Major props to Shannon and his staff for pulling this off.

I love how Shannon interviews- he is so respectful, shows genuine interest, asks great original questions, follows up appropriately & lets the person really take their time to let their story unfold.

I’ve been watching reality tv since the beginning, since the real world and Kandi is my favorite reality tv personality of all time 💐 She’s rich AF and humble at the same time. She helps people she just has a good heart and doesn’t use her wealth to make other people feel small.

THEE BEST EVER FIRST TIME FEMALE GUEST ON ANY SHOW! Kandi always delivers honestly, and always within her wisdom which a beautiful thing to witness and model. I loved this interview and how Shannon made Kandi feel comfortable to speak freely! There was no awkwardness at all, very chill and laid back. It felt like a conversation instead of an interview. Sidenote: also love the reactions of men when they get all the "tea." 😂😂 the "she did what now!?" And "she put it out there like that!?" Had me cracking up!! And his facial expressions. 😂 I didn't really think about it before but men don't really keep up with all the celebrity gossip, and backstories, the juicy stuff! Kandi was blowing his mind with all the details she was giving him. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love Kandi when she's in her own energy. She always seems more sincere than having a sidekick there amping up the conversation. Even her presentation of the drama with Exscape was presented with more class.

I absolutely love Kandi the genuineness and from her flows naturally. She is successful but I love that she gives back and believes in supporting people and she is my Fav Atlanta Housewife.

This was a superb interview. I respect how respectful Shannon Sharpe was to asking those tough questions (that we all wanted to know), which allowed Kandi to feel comfortable enough to answer them. To that note, I can definately see a movie or series about the group Xscape and hopefully it will be made soon. This interview was a good reference point for some details that need to be added in the show (including the two sisters coming to the meeting with their white wigs) lol. Again, kudos to Mr. "Shay Shay" and for selecting Kandi on being the 1st woman to grace your set. God bless!

"That check was hitting way different!" 🤣😂🤣 I love Kandi's authenticity. And I love that she's so humble in that she's not going to brag on herself but she will always have receipts on how successful her career has been. Amazing, quality interview!!! Kandi is the perfect subject for the first female to sit in your chair because of her incredible influence on the culture at this particular moment. She’s successful at attacking the world from all angles and therefore an inspiration for other young women. Great interview indeed! She clarified the break up, I wondered what happened. Xscape, 702, SWV, Total and En Vogue were the girl groups in the day. Those were the days of digital, dial popcorn for the time, beepers, pay phones… a time when you dial a number and hear other conversations. Those were the days…❣️

I loved watching this interview. This is my first time watching his show and I appreciate how respectful he kept the questions and now I’m invested. Kandi was the perfect first woman guest and Rihanna would be a perfect second.
