Did anyone notice that Lamar took his shades off halfway through the interview? It reflects the fact that Shay created such an atmosphere of safety and comfort that Lamar felt protected enough to completely unveil himself. Now, that's a good interviewer!

People don’t really appreciate Shay for his knowledge. His ability to drop info in a instant is amazing. Like the way as soon as someone mentions a school he starts mentioning players that went or his ability to know what game and how many yards, catches, records etc. Dude is a sports treasure and it’s highly underrated when he has total recall on the spot.

I mean what’s there to say, Shannon is top tier at what he does-another great interview for the books. He conducts the best interviews, it’s so raw and natural, leaving you wanting more once it’s over. Lamar was so real and honest and mad funny. I’m so happy to see he’s in a very good space.

This was a great interview! Growing up in The Bronx being a few years younger than L.O. and playing AAU and the tournaments around the city I used to hear the stories about L.O. and Riverside Church. Many NBA players and players from that AAU team say that Lamar was by far the BEST player in NYC and the country during that time. Much respect and continued blessings.

Lamar talking about his drug problems should be mandatory for all athletes going into professional sports. He doesn't sugar coat anything. I wish Shannon would've let him talk more without interrupting him.. Lamar has a slow delivery when speaking so just be patient when he starts speaking.

This interview was definitely elite. I liked Lamar for Kloe and I wish that they could get a 2nd chance at it, but I commend him for his honesty. It takes alot of character to be really real with yourself first so that you can be honest with others. I love hearing him say that he didn't think that he could get back with Kloe because of the hurt that he caused. Alot of men can't admit that and be honest with themselves, so that they don't continue to distribute that behavior. I loved Shannons reaction about that Coach kicking Lamar😅. I enjoy getting the accurate story straight from the source this made me appreciate both of them more as men in the position that they are in. Praise God Lamar that you have a second chance to get it right.🙌🏽 God always has the last SAY🙇🏽‍♀️
