This song feels like a epiphany right before death: memories and nostalgia, realization, closure and bright and grand but also melancholic happines before resting in silence. It always makes me emotional

At his show he said that the stacked melodies of this song are meant to represent the beauty of different cultures and nationalities living in harmony and I though that was pretty dang rad.

I saw Kamasi Washington perform "Truth" LIVE at the Met in Philly as an opening act to Herbie Hancock. Without Question, one of the GREATEST performances I've EVER heard in my entire life. After "Truth" I was sold. Kamasi is coming back to Philly in May 2023 performing at the City Winery. Get your tickets NOW. Yours Truly, The Music Maestro♥️🎶🎙🎵🌹

One of the few jazz composition that me, a post-rock/shoegaze listener, could relate and highly addicted to. This is not music, this is spiritual experience.

I'm a 60 yo white guy from Europe - into your typical rock, jazz, classical - this has to be one of the best pieces ever put together. I had the fortune to live in Kenya back in the 70's - best, most beautiful place I've ever been in, with genuine people that taught me a lot as a young teenager. This reminds me of Osibisa, Santana, 70's rock, Miles Davis - music is such a powerful tool, enjoy the intensity while you can

Great description
Homeland brought me here
Truth is solitary. It is born of our individual experiences. As much as words, art, song...expression might convey meaning to others, it cannot express Truth. Yet, in spite of this, Truth can be shared. It is shared through love, compassion and kindness. It is in a shared embrace, a shared look, a shared laugh. Through sharing, my Truth, your Truth, their Truth becomes our Truth.
This legitimately made me cry. This sound brought on so many emotions all at once. Thank you for letting me feel that. I'm going through a rough time right now, & really needed this.
"This music is too good for these bubbles" is what I thought when I first heard this while working as a dishwasher a few years ago.

Loving Patricia here as always. There is something deeply spiritual about the music of Kamasi Washington and his amazing fellow musicians. So appreciative.
I was repeatedly listening to this song in week when my two beloved bunnies died. Everytime I hear this again, I can't handle with memories coming back like right now. These two furballs were only beings, who always were happy to meet me, selfless and loving. Miss Bubu and Alienek :/ Bitter times.

The loving relationship between a person and their pets transcends the human invention of language (much like music). It's purely, truly love. May they rest in peace and serve as a source of joy, love, and emotional power for you ❤❤❤

I was JUST thinking that last night at his concert in Berkeley. They need to do the soundtrack, with Patrice singing Fists of Fury.
Please tell me why I'm just now hearing about this group. Beautiful done!
Homeland brought me here....
Wow! Hauntingly beautiful, moments of joy and sadness, it is a life journey and reflection song. One of the most profound musical compositions from the 'new blood' scene of the tradition that was birthed by Pharoah Sanders and Alice and John Coltrane.
Everybody is talking about the other video, but i am right here, trying to pick up the pieces of my brain from the ground. God bless these musicians!

I can't put into words the emotions I felt by watching the original video. Everytime tears were falling down and every damn time it made me think: "Damn, I am really lucky to be alive today". This session offers a healing aura, too. Kamasi gave the world a gift. It should be used to do good.

This is the most damn special song I've heard this year. Kamasi opened with it at his Chicago concert last week. I wasn't familiar with K. Washington yet.... but damn this is special, especially live with a summer' Chicago breeze stirring the hair on your neck. Chilling good...!!!
