Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is a video showing how to cook smoked pork ribs and how fast you cook with the SloRoller on the Kamado Joe Classic II. We show you the clearance from grate to dome with SloRoller installed. We answer does it fit (St. Louis Style Pork Ribs)? If so, how many ribs fit with the Classic II SloRoller? Can you use the rib rack or not?
Overall, we share the "4 S" process of smoking ribs.
1. Season
2. Smoke
3. Spritz
4. Sauce
Grill: Kamado Joe Classic II
Temp: 250-270
Wood Chunks: Cherry
Total Cook Time: 3 hours

    Awesome video, amigo! There’s always the option of cutting ribs in half to fit that rib rack but you’d only gain another rack and they’d all be split in half, ruining that money B roll. 😆 Looks like they turned out perfect!

  • @BartlowsBBQ

    @BartlowsBBQ

    3 жыл бұрын

    @Outdoor Indoor Texan Thank you so much. I did consider that and cutting or extremely trimming. But you gotta have that nice B roll. Plus, I originally was going to cook 5 ribs and cut them in half & used wood skewers to keep them together. Just didn't think it would work. 😀

    Is the sloroller that much better than the heat deflector stones?

  • @BartlowsBBQ

    @BartlowsBBQ

    3 жыл бұрын

    So far in my experience I can tell a difference but you'll read from other forums that others feel it doesn't make a difference. I rarely use heat deflectors anymore unless I'm using different accessories or different style cooks. The big idea is it helps push heat & air in a rolling circulation given your cook even heat!

    Could you do 3 racks in rib rack?

  • @BartlowsBBQ

    @BartlowsBBQ

    3 жыл бұрын

    With the sloroller accessory the rib rack is a tight squeeze. You technically can fit the rack in if you scoot it back toward the back of the dome on grate. Then, trim ribs to fit. Without sloroller, you can easily cook 6 ribs on grate with rib rack. I demonstrated with ribs in packaging it would be difficult to shut dome with that accessory. I hope that is helpful.
