I feel that the revolt in gema at present is against the kamau family seeing as to how since he took power, he has expanded his family business empire and the preception is that this hes done at the expence of the mwananchi. Raila is subsequently viewed as a custodian of this family wealth in the sense that he wont go investigating or prosecuting the kamau family. Gema is committing some kind of seppuku in siding with ruto. But I could be wrong.
