Your way of seasoning is simple, in many videos was told everyday need to be coated castor oil for 7 days & keep it in sunlight all 7 days then must soak in kanchi for about 7 days then pour hot water for 2 -3 days, finally boil hot water for in kalchatty few times, after these process can start using & not to keep on flame directly for 6 month.

Very well detailed video regarding seasoning of kalchatti. It has been told by somebody that it should be kept it in sun daily. Is it so? U have told that keep this kalchatti for 5 days, will it be, keeping it in sundry or just like that outside. Please clear this doubt.

No need. When it is completely seasoned we can use it like a normal vessel.

I bought a pre sesoned kal satti few weeks back... When I used it , a small piece cracked out from the inner bottom of the kal satti ... Can I fix the piece again?? Is there any glue for fixing the broken chip with the kal satti... Pls suggest...
