    I trained for 17 years in kajukenbo. This is the most spot on video I have ever seen. The prayer comes from their teacher James Mitose.

    I am a third degree black belt Kajukenbo practitioner. Old school... The difference I see from today and back in the day is that today they are making a lot of strikes very fast but not hitting the target. Old school did multiple Strikes but were spot on the money with accuracy.

    I really liked the Kajukenbo school I trained in because they didn't have the prayer. I think it's because they realize not everyone is christian or has the same beliefs, for example I'm a pagan, someone else could be a Hindu or non religious etc.

    Yeah well, i respect every form of credence and their effort to preserveve it, but this Kajukenbo prayer thing i don't appreciate it. For me a martial art it's something that is free from diversity (race, religion, countryside ecc.) And that's why i love this world so much, because everyone is welcome in it, no matter that u're a muslim, a chiristian, jewish ecc. I practice Kyokushinkai karate since 8 years and his founder, Sosai Mas Oyama, had thousand of differents students from all over the world, careless of their belives. At the end of every training, we also recitate the Dojo Kun (Dojo behaivour code) and hi 5th passage says ; "we shall follow our religion and never forget the only virtue of humility!" Osu, respects! 🥋🔥

    First mma was created by samurai then ninja before our time yamabushi warrior priest koga region of Japan 500 bc.. sun tzu speaks of mixed martial arts in the art of war .

  • @malmsProject

    @malmsProject

    Жыл бұрын

    While it is true that various forms of mixed martial arts have existed throughout history, the first organized MMA competitions didn't occur until the 20th century. The concept of mixed martial arts as we know it today was developed in Brazil in the 1920s and 1930s with the creation of Vale Tudo, which was later developed into modern-day MMA. While it is possible that the samurai, ninja, and yamabushi warrior priest practiced mixed martial arts in some form, there is little historical evidence to support this claim. Additionally, while Sun Tzu's "Art of War" contains numerous references to martial arts and combat tactics, there is no specific mention of mixed martial arts.

    'Kajukenbo' may be an actual thing for all I know, and if so, then this probably ain't it. I can safely say that the makers of this video are almost certainly running a GRIFT, looking to scam impressionable young men on the internets. Don't give them your money!

    just learn boxing, muay thai and some jujitsu all that flowery "technique" work is a waste of time and so is religion. Think of traditional martial arts as obsolete technology that had relevance in the older less sophisticated era of human history. Its like a musket against a modern rifle.
