I think this is the only Ursa footage which can compete with BMCC 2.5 k on YT.

what field of view did it gave you after you cropped in by 15%? (And without the cropping what would had been the field of view?) loved your video, it made me decide go the Russian lens way as taking lenses for the ISCO! 🔥🗡 (currently i just own a 58 44M-4 and ordering an Isco 2x and a slr magic singlefocus solution) But will do order the Mir 1-b as well!!

Haha, for this film most of it was shot at F5.6 or F8, hence the allignment would not have been so important. I was struggling to work out why sharpness wide-open was a bit soft. Only learnt after filming that the Russian lenses I was using as taking lenses aren't accurate with their marks. So I had to run tests and pull to infinity and remark all the lenses. Now the ISCO and the Russian lenses are tact sharp wide-open. Keep an eye on those infinity marks :) And get a variable diopter to make ur life easier

Hi! 37mm has heavy vignetting, but I placed 85% safety markers on my viewfinder and framed for that. Then in post I just punched in by 15% to remove the vignette. Not the best workaround but atleast the sharpness holds. Would love to experiment with a 40mm one day and see if the vignetting finally goes away

Hi! Sure! I used the Rapido Tech housing for the ISCO, and then installed Rapido's front variable diopter to achieve single focus. Google Rapido Technology and Im sure youll find them no worries. Something I discovered after filming the horses was that "infinity focus" on both the ISCO and Russian taking lenses were not actually true infinity - it's a few millimeters back. So after tweaking, in essence, the lenses are now 25% sharper with more defined oval bokeh than what you saw in my Kaimanawa video haha.

@@lightbright8888 I got the Vid-Atlantic kit off ebay called "Isco Micro RED Anamorphic Lens PREMIUM SINGLE FOCUS setup, for DSLR Cameras" It comes with a clamp to add to your taking lens but I needed step up rings for my Rokinon DS Cine lenses (50mm, 85mm, 135mm). You can find them cheap on Amazon. Don't forget to get a single focus adapter. It saves time.
