Now that I think about it. There is a reason why kids nowadays seem kinda dumb, no offence. We were shown a kid live in a time loop where his best friend kept dying in front of his eyes for endless centuries or at least decades. Not to mention after that he kept on killing himself just as many times as we soon learn until he somehow got out of the time loop...without his friend though. So it was all for nought in the end which is pretty damn dark. But in Cartoon Network, they replaced Young Justice and Batman of Shanghai with Teen Titans Go.

@@randompersonontheinternet8787 I think its less that TV shows are making kids dumb and more that people making TV shows have forgotten how smart kids actually are. A lot of us do, when we grow up, so we fall into a sort of confirmation bias, which is made all the more easy by the fact that so much of kids media is unnecessarily dumbed down. Kids today are fully capable of processing complex concepts and narratives like we were 10/20/30/etc yrs ago when we were kids! Kids TV just doesn't reflect that anymore!

She would have died either way if he had not left his house. If he hugged her really close then either one of them would still die. He died first he would leave the time Loop and the girl would stay. And vise vera

If Hibiya never left his house, Hiyori would have still wandered off on her own and managed to die (some claim by an overdose, some claim by a murderer). No matter what, Hiyori would die. At least, that's what Hibiya thought. When he finally tried to take her place, it was revealed Hiyori had always seen Hibiya die, and she was dying over and over in his loop to save him. Not sure if this cleared anything up, but!!!

What if instead of him taking Hiyori's place, by dragging him into the street and her from it, he instead jumped onto her, hugging her tightly, killing them both at the same time by the same truck. Here's my logic; if one of them has to die for the Haze to cycle, trying desperately to save the other and eventually switching when they sacrifice themselfs in an attempt that fails to atleast get their very close friend out of the loop. So, my idea wouldn't be self sacrifice but it wouldn't happen since it's a closed loop that ends and starts with one of them thinking that it would maybe end it, but that's not true since at one point Konoha got in even if he was just a unhelpfull bystander to them. So the only way for this to happen is for one of them to realise in one of the loop of loops that they wouldn't want the other to even go through a portion of what they've had to experience in this endless summer haze, so the only logical other option is for them to go out together, even if that meant that they both might actually die for real this time.

@Victor that’s a good theory but this is essentially a whole big part of a story where if two people enter the cycle together one can leave if the other stays, it’s a bit more complicated than that, but essentially there’s no way for both of them to leave.

Truck boi for life! Ha ha, get it? Because he spend most of his life seeing his girl get hit by a truck.

This was the first song that lead me down the rabbit hole that is this series. Worth every single reset. This series has helped me carry on with my life, to move forward even when I feel like it's useless.
