The other thing is through 20 years of combat we've been able to develop these TTPs and the new 0331 doctrine. Machine guns are employed at the lowest level in a building from lessons learned in OIF. We developed MSL considerations from OEF where there were wide open wadis and maneuver elements enveloping on objectives. I don't think anyone even got to see what grazing fire is until the combat of the last 20 years. The marine corps infantry is so unique because of each 03 MOS. They are jacks of all trades but masters of their individual MOSs. Assaultman are defiant, beligerant, a little weird, and complete crackheads but they're the smartest dudes youll ever meet. 0331s are the most prideful group in the infantry and have the most diverse personalities amongst their ranks. We all lift and half of us are crackheads but we hold our boots to such an insanely high standards.

2531 radio operator. This happened in Oki. Comm Co. 3rd FSSG. They sent admin to the m60 range. 3-4 teams. Wore them out by the end of the day. Couldn't turn in unused ammo. We were given 1 order don't burn up the barrel. Free traverse & elevation. The perks of range control. 😁😁

That was very informative. Remington made a adjustable spring on their rifle to compensate the recoil to shoot shorts and longs and long rifle shells. It could be dangerous when the spring flew out the back, so it got welded in place to just shoot lr.

Kinda like lifestyles of the rich and famous but substitute money, fame, and extravagance with time left alone, distance from command, and tour what fine libations, hors d'eouvres, and secret-societies/swinger circles they attend after libo call.

@@kagan.dunlapthe man was a pure genius, that worked hard and had a good set of principles to live by. We loved him overhere, and he seemed to like us. A big reason we still have a weaponsindustry in this country is the fact things clicked between Browing and FN. He expected an extreme quality of workmanship,an expectation that only a few companies at the time could live up to. Sadly he died of a heart attack while working in his FN office in Herstal on 26 November 1926. It was his 61st visit to Belgium. (Imagine how motivated you need to be to do that trip 61 times,.... by ship 😲🤯, insane) His body was repatriated to the United States, where he was buried with full military honours. His son Val continued his collaboration with the Belgian factory without interruption. That collaboration continues to this very day. 🤘🤣🇧🇪🇺🇲

The L/Cpl is a fine example of what a Marine is. If Kagan can't get the intended results from him, a SSgt won't deliver. Meeting and greeting a low ranking enlisted Marine who displays great poise and confidence with a lot if MOS knowledge shows that his senior leadership has their job
