SPB lives on!! His voice is somewhere or other will be listened by someone every second/minute exist in this universe; Who else can get that greatest achievement? He never learned classical music, but he's master in it, his voice was first rejected for playback singing and he's master in it, somehow he's the reason for Ilayaraja as music composure, such a great personality he's, though he is from Telugu language, Tamils owned him their own person... I can't stop writing about him, all I can say is we physically miss him today but he lives on everywhere with his magical voice

SPB was introduced as a singer in the tamil film Shanthi nilayam for the song Iyarkai ennum by MS Viswanathan [music composer]. But the first song released was Ayiram nilave vaa [1967, Adimai pen] in KV Mahadevan musical. Later he was the preodominant male singer in maestro Ilayaraja composition [90 percent]. His voice well suit to all tamil actors.

FIRST credit goes to Maestro ILAYARAJA, without whom this song won't even EXIST! The SONG is READY in its entirety (100%) even before the lyricist pens the words, and singer arrives to record his/her voice! He is approached by a director/producer, he listens to the situation, composes the TUNE / prelude / interludes, chooses the instruments for orchestration, composes the background music for the song, WRITES musical notations, chooses a right singer, picks the lyricist, finalizes the lyrics so it fits the tune, hands over the music notes to the orchestra, conducts it & makes sure the final output is perfect - ALL these while taking care every element goes with the EMOTION of the song! You didn’t watch the video even for 2 minutes? He mentioned the composer’s name at 1:16~. Also they already reviewed the same song from the movie before, he mentioned that in this review. There also he mentioned the composer’s name. The point of reviewing this live performance (the same song 2nd time) was to appreciate the singer. So they did it.

@@zfactor5347 Nobody looks for that one needle in a haystack. It should have been in the video title. Elsewhere, when a Symphony Orchestra plays a composer's piece, they credit the composer in the beginning. Never mind; I never expected folks to understand even that!

They should’ve mentioned the lyricist & the orchestra group that played the music + the conductor’s name in the video title. Also, this song has a context- it’s so nice & so emotional because of the movie story. So they should’ve mentioned the name of the screenplay writer & the director of the movie too in the title of the video. Anyway, bye.
