Kabbalah, Occultism, Freemasonry and Jordan Peterson - Stop Being Silly

In the wake of many attacks on Jordan Peterson, I look at the danger of reducing symbolic structures to their historical association with groups, schools of thinking and occult personalities.

Jonathan Pageau I am a (self-proclaimed) occultist and I love your channel and videos! I think occultists are hostile to Christianity because the way Western Christians view the world is perceived as depraved and lacking of the intuitive symbolic understanding. On the other hand, many occultists fail to see the significance of Christian symbolism and remain complacent in whatever customized-symbolic-architecture they devise. Carl Jung was the dude who propelled me into this subtle way of seeing that the orthodox tradition does - though the christian perspective is more limited (imo, no offense). The sooner society sees that magic is necessarily embodied and projected from every soul, manipulated in our every action, and contained in every thing, the better. And I think you’re helping with that :) if you call it ‘God’ I’m okay with that... for the most part.

Jonathan Pageau you may want to edit out the random baphomet @ 16:22-23 and re-upload. The conspiracists will definitely have a field day seeing as it pops up right when you say “divine sparks of god”. I can hear them now, “He’s not even trying to hide it!” Etc etc.

The misunderstanding of symbolism has been a source of much frustration for myself as well. I highly resonate with this video lol. Another point of frustration is the fact that literally all symbolism has been stripped away from modern Protestant Christianity so I can't even point to examples within my own sect and, as you know, in Christian circles anyone who isn't within your own tiny little sect might as well be straight-up worshipping the devil. 🤦‍♂ So this may or may not be helpful in changing any of their minds, but it was nice to see another Christian telling people to stop being silly and ignorant and think critically about the judgements they make.

I grew up in the same culture, there is much I love about the heritage I received such as hymns and theology, but a lot of subjects were labeled as demonic and perhaps it is because my parents were first generation Christians who were reacting, like a pendulum, to the French Canadian Catholic overreaching religion of the day. Anyways, in my classical education journey I have been digging and discovering Ancient Art, Medieval Fine Arts and Music, even stories of the Saints (which were a no no when I grew up) and as we remove the layers of misunderstanding we come to see beauty, depth, and symbols we did not understand before. Thanks for the rant, I relate!

I think the best way to get your point across (which is a crucial point) is to consider symbols as words (which they are) and that words require context (the tone, the circumstances, a few more words stringed together) to get their meaning across. what's interesting is that by provoking fear, you can make people associate these primordial symbols with enough repulsion so that they will reject them altogether - unless you dress up these symbols in a fashion they are more accustomed to.

One of the most important principals of the Masonic Fraternity is that each member is encouraged to put their religious tradition ahead of the fraternity. I teach classes to new Masons and we start by telling them that the answers they seek are found in their home religion. There should be no conflict of loyalty when our organization is specifically designed as support to the church. The roll of "secrets" is to teach the value of thinking before you speak and respecting the power of the word. Again a support to Christian thought and not a religion

As far as I know, the Waldenses, some of the first christians, didn't have any mystical private rituals or symbolism. They didn't even want Jesus on a cross hung in their home. The children would spend all their time learning the Bible from front to back to go and teach others. Catholicism added the symbolism. Symbolism is created by man to divide themselves from other men. I'd say that would be kinda evil.

@@ratchow6338 History gets really murky the further you go from our own lifetimes. The existence of cagots is shrouded in mystery. They wore a "goose foot" badge which clearly looks like a red cross yet they were untouchables. How did it come to be? Only speculations. It isn't clear how the fighting word "cretin" could get so much use considering it's a shorthand for "christian". Spain was apparently Muslim, but then once it became Christian, they started expelling "new Christians." And we get the important word "admiral" from them, which is an Arabic loan word. The numbers we use are not Roman numerals. A lot of odd stuff on the edges of the official history. If you want to gain clarity by going through the academic canon and its timeline, chances are you won't find it. I think real history looked a lot more like the modern world, similar to how the real world looks different from the romantic soap operas they used to show on TV. Never belittle the truths about the world that you have personally experienced. The modern Muslims are the most iconoclastic people on the planet btw.

We were born on the 6th day for example and I believe the by product for melanin ( specifically black, and sometimes Hispanics, Natives, and Indians) is 666. The Devil honestly just used are on egos and pride against us to essentially praise ourselves over God (Logos) which is the real reason why the number became a problem. 666 is literally self worship.

I am catholic (currently also exploring other chistian religions) and I have always been interesting in the symbolisms in general... at this point I think symbols have true power, and I think symbols are a tool and a language, therefore they are not good nor bad on themselves, but they can be used by many different people with many different intentions, and they can be use for noble and sacred purpouses but also for eveil ones (even for foolish ones)... It's not much different, oversimplificating, as the alphabet: you can use the letters to write a prayer and to write a blasphemy... Saying "hey! that prayer has two letter A, just like this blashphemy!" it does not mean the prayer is actually evil and it does not mean the blasphemy is actually good, it just mean you are looking at two different individuals, using a powerful tool to exhalt different mindsets...

An unfortunate possible consequence of this great argument might be the further alienation of the West from Eastern Christianity. Your case, Jonathan, was typically that these images are found not merely in occult circles, but within Orthodox and Catholic symbolism as well. Many Evangelicals, no doubt, will take that to mean that the traditional churches are part of the occult as well.

The Church is split and with good reason. Dissimilar strains of interpretation of the Bible and the Gospel have forwarded to such a degree, that in some cases even the core beliefs are interpreted differently-For example, Catholics believe that transubstantiation of Christ’s body and blood is core doctrine. Whereas most Protestants see the body and the blood as a purely symbolic affirming of Jesus Christ’s life sacrifice-Between a Catholic and a Protestant these may be insurmountable unlikeness in belief.

The problem with interpreting any symbols is that they can mean different things to different people. And we rarely have access to the original intent of the person writing or placing the symbol. So perhaps it is more useful to use our inner guidance, inner tuition, to gain a truer sense of the original intention. To do this, we need to be aware of any particular meanings we have become accustomed to associating with a particular symbol, put ourself into a neutral space, then tune in to the energy of the originator. It works for me. In addition, I am very wary about swallowing someone else's interpretation either way ('this is an evil symbol' or 'this is not intended to be used for evil'). Because usually, their interpretation is based on a particular agenda of intent, and NOT on a direct energetic connection with the original intended use of the symbol in a specific instance. We all need to do our own tuning in and not blindly rely on someone else's agenda-fuelled dictates ;o)

No. They mean what they mean and freemasons lie to people about it and then people believe dumb BS @3rddimensionalphysical44 the son of man refers to natural man. Look up the bible verse about the queen of the south. It's talking about ishtar and you'll find that she comes from the most utter parts of the Earth. In this verse jesus refers to himself as the son of man who will sit in the center of the Earth for three days. This is describing becoming spiritual man. Aka a vessel for God. Jesus had to die because it represents destroying this fake idea of self. In revalation 13 the first and second beast are mary and jesus.. rev 12 is about a star alignment with virgo leo and jupiter. Leo sits on the crown. She wears the sun. Aka shining one, stands on the moon. Balanced masculine and feminine energy. This is displaying the virgin birth with jupiter being born. Leo aka God jupiter jesus. Satan is hydra. One third of stars represents the spine. The dragon is the serpent gaurding eden. It id one with the first and second beast. Three pillars of the tree of life inverted. The first came from the sea. The second the Earth. Sin in all living things. The d evil within. A gift to help us survive. The same darkness in you is within all living things.. you should examine the logo he used for him taking part in a conspiracy. Do you know what it means? The glove is making the 666 hand gesture from freemasonry. The seven pillars he is using represents the seven seals of revalation. The seven chakras that align the spine. You have to face the destroyer to recieve the morning star. The all seeing eye. You do this biblically by destroying ishtar on the seven hills she sits allowing them to flow openly causing the biblical flood. The river of God is actually your cerebral spinal fluid. I have very little doubt there's a conspiracy to create christians. I also have little doubt that's a huge part of what freemasons have done for the last 2000 years. Esp after they created America. I also have little doubt he's part of an organized conspiracy in freemasonry and he is lying about it. He did a show with Jordan Peterson where they discussed the legitamacy of the devil. Which btw is literally just evil... d evil. It was a survival mechanism and gift from the divine feminine that created the universe. Anyways in this they set up a table in the center of the room. That table was the tree of life. The bible says there's two tree's on ether side of the river of God. It's about your brain stem, csf, and the ether. Seven people sat around the table. Seventh heaven. This is why the numbers three and seven are paired in the bible. It's a code revolving around the tree. Jordan sat in the middle. The left half of his suit red. The right blue. God said he would put the sheep on the right and goats on the left. Osiris flail and crook became adonai... yet this con job wants you to think bible characters were real. God is the center pillar, masculine and feminine energy on ether side. The three mirrors behind them are about this. Sexual alchemy is in all myths and religions. It is science. This science is actually showing that all the God's are one and every biblical character is God. Hence Jordan displaying as God. The ego it takes is insane on it's own. Then in another video this guy says people say the catholic church is evil because of the symbolism they use linking it to egypt. Even their hats came from egypt... know why it's evil? The ancients elongated their skulls to represent a virgin birth within. It came from the cosmic egg. Birthing God within. In the beginning greeks called the divine feminine chaos. It birthed the divine masculine. As above so below. It's about becoming one with the universe balancing this masculine and feminine within. The scales of justice. If the hesrt weighs ,ore than a feather it will be devoired by a crockadile. Aka your ego. Satan. If it's lighter you'll enter heaven internally. So what's wrong with that? All perversions came from the royals and the vatican. It's evil because they used it to manipulate people and brainwash the entire planet. Now I'll extend this farther... social media is rigged for their initates. Hence him downplaying what actually happened. Europeans were brought into the mystery schools and then used initation rights based off black mail to over throw them from within. At this point they've turned them into aliens. Mork and mindy. Blue shining one in a cave in merlin. Metal robot in dragonball. Alien. Promotheus... promotheus stole fire from the God's. This is actually about knowing and seeing evil. Man has become like one of us. Nobody gets to the father except through me. Six six six breaks down into 9. The omega. Jesus is both masculine and feminine energy. God and satan. The man never existed just like the rest of fictional characters based off God's. He was crucified in the skull. Thrity three bones in the spine to the holy grail. Jesus is the morning star. Sirius. The blazing star of freemasonry. Your penial gland. These people sold their souls. Mad obvious is you crack their code in all our tv shows, movies, and games. Corporation logos. Stone carvings and heiroglyphs. This channel is basically about creating a barrier so you can't see what's right in front of your face. Freemasons manipulating humanity. The truth movement is a third arm for the media. It is all striaght up BS. So how about explaining this away... other people might not see this for what it is... but I do. Jesus is both God and satan because the man, the myth, the legend is indeed just that. A fantasy invention by a global cult like all their non sense religoons they used to hide this. Lucifer so badly wanted to be like the most high every night it sirius rizes to the highest point in the sky to be sent back to the underworld by the sun. Satna claustrum. It's why God's decend into hell before rizing back up again. Jesus is lucifer. No one gets the father except through me. Without knowing evil you can not come to know God. Only his graven image jesus gave you to worship instead of God.

The character who represents going against arbitrary authority, much like the way Satan oppose Yahweh. The character who does not shy away from inquirie, much like when Satan question Yahweh when everyone else said don’t question him. The character who attempts to show equality and justice which opposes Yahweh’s vision of women being under man and the unjust decision he makes in the book. glockster yes we do not believe in a literal Satan or anything superstitious. We take the character and what he represents and set a philosophy around it. It is no gimmick or joke we as an organization have already put our ideas into practice showing it isn’t a joke. America says we should all have religious liberty correct? So if a public place wants to promote Christianity than it should be aloud to promote satanism as well. And if it doesn’t then leave religion out of public places period. This is clearly a course equality and if not that then justice. And no I do not get paid I genuinely believe in the cause of educating others about scientific advancements and eliminating superstitious thinking without evidence. Nothing there is a lie. We most definitely wish to protect children as I see it forcing children to join Christianity at a young as is wrong.

"as above so below" years ago i remember my girlfriend at the time she kept telling me " NO THATS BAD ITS BAPHAMENT EVIL SYMBOLISM" , and its just wrong such a low-resolution perception of something with such a deep symbolism you will see it EVERYWHERE the reason is because it literally is one of the most fundamental perceptions in nature. Just because Alistair Crowley said it one time doesn't make it evil. I think the same thing happens with the Gnostics, people are too quick to assume they know everything about the gnostics and the gnostics that existed thousands of years ago must have thought just like Karl Marx and Hegel... Just because you have the symbolism of the Demiurge "false god" (which also appears multitude of places) doesn't mean you believe in luciferianism. Glad to hear you talk about this Jonathan, as someone who is interested in symbolism it has always been annoying to me to have a lot of these things generally overlooked by people with a very shallow understanding of what the symbol is..

Jonathan, I've been a lurking fan for a little while now and I genuinely enjoy your content. Found you through Glink, believe it or not. You've helped me rethink some views I've held about my faith. It's been a pleasure learning from you. I'm very curious about your interpretation about Freemasonry. Most of the information I've found about the fraternity seems to either be misidentifications like you've defined here, or information that honestly appears rather positive. Albert Pike and Aleister Crowley are very obviously evil and subversive people, intending to entirely destroy Christianity. But I can't honestly say I believe that for the rest of the Masonic bodies, especially that of the York Rite which is literally pulling from the story of the Knights Templar. To give a quote from a Knights Templar magazine, "Freemasonry can certainly not take the place of the Church. It must, in fact, support the Church." That article does mention some sketchy apocryphal sources too, so it's not as if their word is gospel. However, it largely appears that Masonry is actually on the side of the Church, not against it-at least on the side of the York Rite. Where can I learn more about the subversive or sinister side of Freemasonry that you were talking about? I'm trying to give an honest study on both sides of the opinion. Thank you so much for all of the work you do!

I think this 'evil' label is very problematic here. When refering to these issues regarding secret societies and austere brotherhoods, it is clearer to place them in the context of knowledge vs ignorance, and applies to the Christian Church as well. Many of these groups claim to be in possession of the 'greater key of Solomon' or the 'True Emerald Tablet' the 'Prima Materia' the 'magic elixer', etc..This kind of rhetoric smacks of tragic ignorance right away and guaranteed to be chock-full of dogma and fanciful nonsense. These groups are evil in tbe sense that they are populated with people who are seeking some to quench some base desire for riches or covert power. Any talk about alchemy and gold, eternal youth, blah blah blah...seeking one's fortune via fortune teller is NOT very wise

That's comforting to know that snakes aren't always evil. When I joined the US Army and realized our crest has a talking snake saying "this we'll defend" on it and I learned that a lot of the symbolism came from Washington who was supposedly a free mason I had some suspicions (only thing that kept me thinking the opposite of what seemed to be true was true was that special operations, ie Special Forces being referred to as "snake eaters" or SEALs being referred to as "frog men" reminds me of Jordan Peterson's lectures about Marduk fighting Tiamat (snake eater) and your convo with JBP about the metaphysics of Pepe and how frogs are similar to jesters in representing a thing surviving in chaos, in the upside down world, and a harbinger of the correction.)

Who told you that snakes are evil? Why is it that the goal of the snake in the Garden of Eden, is the same result that we see in the Book of Revelation? These people do exactly what is said in 2 Corinthians 3:14. Their eyes are blinded when reading the Old Testament. They fail to see that the motivation of Jesus is the same as the motivation of the snake in Eden. The intention was to understand morality, but when we began to understand morality and gain knowledge, we were murdered by the Self Proclaimed Imposter God who stole immortality from us. He is the one who fell from Heaven to Earth. The same one spoken of by the angel in Revelation 12:12. What did Jesus say about "the murderer from the beginning? Read John 8:44. Better yet, read the whole chapter for context. Jesus tells the Pharisees what is written in "their laws". He talks about the difference between "their father" and "my father". The Father in Heaven is not the God of the Old Testament. The God of the Old Testament is obsessed with sacrifice and bloodshed. Whereas the Father in Heaven sent his own Son to be a Sacrifice here on Earth. We have been lied to, and it becomes really obvious when you see all the murder and bloodshed in the old testament and compare it to what Jesus actually said. Intention. Motivation. Purpose. Faith. Hope. Love. Serpents are not evil. Our founding fathers even talked about this when we chose the Eagle over the Snake. "Don't tread on me." But now we have a Eagle clutching a Snake as our nation's mascot. The war between the Eagle and the Serpent is real. Just look throughout all of history and you will see the Eagles Wings as a Herald for Death and Destruction. Snakes are venerated as being wise and healers. Even in the Bible the Jews are healed by looking at a bronze serpent. The Biblical text is full of contradictions because it was monopolized and tainted by the Roman Catholics for 1500 years. Thank God for Luther. We would be screwed without him... Yet even now, so many are still blind to the truth.

NO WAY! I LITERALLY JUST GOT GOOSEBUMPS! THANKKKK YOOOU!!! You seriously just answered a question that I have been asking myself for a couple of years now. Let me explain- as an artist, I have been EXTREMELY puzzled by this trend that has been going on with shapes. More specifically, the arch, "heaven and earth", circle on a square/rectangle. They are EVERYWHERE and I absolutely love them but thought that it was awfully odd that everyone was using them and since artists reflect the state of society, I was curious why there would always be these arched windows. Now what I would really be curious to know is if I sent you a collection of ones that I have seen and that stick out to me, would you think you could interpret?? I have some hints to what it is reflecting or "telling" us about societies undercurrents (which I believe it is because it is a subconscious phenomenon - the majority of these artists know little but the popular astrological figures that have been glamorized lately- there was no intention), but I'm sure you know more than I do.

Matthew Not really. All I know is that in some ways, it’s sort of unsettling. I had this awaking last year that started with a massive panic attack and ever since I see the arts as something similar to witchcraft. Not in a necessarily bad way, but for instance, pop music or modern illustrations can kinda speak some really catchy dark stuff into the world and as our “virginity” to these dark concepts continues to be shocked- they keep pushing the envelope because we have been grown desensitized as a society. “Logos” now being made to represent the image of a business/money/material ... and exploitation of Logos. It’s all super interesting but I suppose these hunches of mine are all theories.

And if possible maybe even some speculation on how to recover the meaning of symbols that have been co-opted by other groups like you were speaking of. One example being the swastika, which as many know was used by Nazi Germany and various white supremacist groups and was inspired by the occult, but it was stolen from more ancient religions, the easiest example being Buddhism. Yet when many people see it they don’t think Buddhism or what have you. They think Nazi. So how could one recover the original intent and rescue it from the other more horrible attributions?

Just as you eat food physically, you must eat food spiritually and if you do not internalize the character and the nature of who the Christ is you're not eating him... your physical body needs food, and so does your spirit. The teaching has nothing to do with cannibalism, nor would Christ teach something contradictory to the word of the Father.

Jonathan are you aware of the absolutely stunning work "Meditations on the Tarot"? It was originally written in French in the forms of letters "from the other side" by a deceased "unknown friend", and, by the will of the author, published anonymously several years after his death. In it, the author delves deeper than anybody else I am aware of, into the occult and its symbolism, ultimately tying and bringing everything back into the light of the Christian Mystery. It has basically, single-handedly rescued me from my wanderings into the occult and brought me back to Christ and to his Church. The book is so deeply layered and the insights of the author are so profound that it keeps on giving even after many many reads. A truly "Living Book" in the highest sense, and the only one of its kind to my knowledge.

Numbers 21:8 KJV - And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. Numbers 21:9 KJV - And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. This of course represents Christ, and those that look to him for salvation. However, it wasn't long before the Isrealites started worshiping that same statue and not what it represented. 2 Kings 18:4 KJV - He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan. So, perhaps, that image represents those that believed in what the snake represented and those that believed in the snake. Also, it could also simply represent, one believing thief and one unbelieving thief. Both are types of people society would deem snakes. "That thieving snake!".

Symbols, whether of religious ideologies or secular meanings have always been the most effective tool as a means of containing in a condensed sense, the identity of the group, team, institution, company or sector. The same reason that we still use corporate logos as easy identification today. We can shift into meanings that are more archetypal or universal when we employ primary geometry, mathematics and sometimes even color and shade can denote and communicate something Fundamental and clear (Yin-Yang for example). The most direct primary shape is the circle, and it is of course the oldest symbol we know. The centre of the circle and points that span around the circle itself are a crucial aspect and the circle is meaningless without them. Now this simple rudiment ultimately leads to the familiar spiral, shell-like form of the Golden Mean, the PI formula, and the mathematical divisions of one whole into the decimal points. So it would be silly to assume that such a symbol could only be understood by a local people, or an expert in the field. An equalateral cross is another such fundament symbol, easily understood.

Maybe you should do an occult series, or more specifically a de-occultism series. Like it or not these conversations are being had by people who are illiterate when it comes to understanding the purpose (and repurposing) of these symbols, and having your angle would be beneficial in dispelling the misconceptions that arise from the darker underbelly of the internet.

I'm pretty conservative and square but I enjoy going to dive bars & after hour clubs. I often run into self proclaimed satanists and other misfits who freak out when I tell them I'm an agent of Archangel Michael 😂😂 I'm not particularly religious but the things I've experienced in my day to day life make me want to revisit some of my early Catholic/Christian teachings.. Not sure if what I just shared is in any way pertinent to what was covered in this video..

I know the exact video you may be talking about. It is Brother Augustine's video on Jordan Peterson and speculating if he could be a freemason. Keep in mind that Brother Augustine is an ex freemason occultist who is now Orthodox, he even has an interview with Jay Dyer under his real name Michael Whitcoff. You should have an actual talk with him, he isnt as dumb or thick headed as you make him out to be. Please reach out to him.

Jonathan and I are friends on Facebook, and he could have easily reached out to me to ask for clarification or start a dialogue. I was excited when I heard he made a video response to my video, and very disappointed when I sat down to watch it.

There is no such thing as an Ex-Freemason. Once you're a Mason. You're a Mason for life. You can't ever be an Ex-Mason. You can never undo what you've saw once you're initiated. You need to shut the fuck up about shit you don't know about.

The 9ine God I don’t understand how you can’t be an ex-Freemason. It’s a fraternity. No doubt a person can’t forget what the person saw and heard in their initiation, but what is it that they saw or heard that makes one irrevocably a Freemason? What is a “Freemason” that it is something someone can be simply by virtue of knowing something? It seems to me that if someone stops paying their dues and gets their membership revoked or they leave the group then they are an ex-Freemason. What am I missing here?

@@albionseed4866 If your refering to the council of nicea AD 325, the books/gospels/epistles that were compiled together were the already accepted books of the early church deriving from the ascension of Christ. Dude, the early christians were killed because they didnt comply with the roman laws of the land (which included calling caeser lord)for roughly 300 years. As good as nicea ad 325 was at compiling the bible, it was also constantine who made christianity the state religion, and with it came alot of the roman pagan practices, ala roman catholicism, which, any true, bible believing protestant like myself rejects. But if your just after an argument and not interested in facts and scholarly research, i suppose nothing will convince you.

Magic, Religious and Spiritual practices are basically the same things with some minor differences of context and motives, I am Christian in a community here in Italy where it's all taken very seriously and with a focus on practicality, in growing up I was also curious and studied vary occult and spiritual practices and I was astounded at all the similarities of many spiritual practices (from the "Magicka practices" to alchemy to various form of occultism, but also more practical and less spiritual stuff like NLP and the whole Think and Grow Rich movement) with my religion, that made me appreciate even more the bible and church, we really undervalue the power of Religion and Spirituality and should be part of everyone (as long as it is made from a point of wisdom), I advice to venture out from your confort zone and study some other spiritual or even occult practices, some things and practicers are just bs but if you come from a point of wisdom you will learn so much you won't believe it

When people started telling me today that you had made a video response to my own video, I was looking forward to what I hoped was a high-tier and point-by-point critique that could turn into an interesting and fruitful dialogue. Then I watched the actual video, and that hope quickly vanished. The honest thing to do would have been reaching out to me for a conversation, to make sure you understood the points I was making and why I was making them. At the very least, showing my whole video for proper context - rather than taking one slide, as if it existed in a vacuum, just to put words in my mouth and tear down the strawman you built - would have been far more honorable than this kind of deceptive and goofy emotionalism.

Accusation based on commonality of symbolism while ignoring context is crude goofy emotionalism, and actually dangerous... it is actually pushing YOUR contextualization onto others.... which is actually more akin to spell casting, than actual understanding which is what his response is conveying. Crowley drank water! Levi wrote on paper! Bush used TVs! Language and word is dependent on sentence, paragraph and context structure. Symbolism is simply pointing to meaning... those that cant define context around symbolism that is found in all human cultures and thought systems, are myopic super egoic buffoons.

mostly dead “Sources” have nothing to do with his point. Humans coming up with symbolism to represent the world in and around them are going to have some commonality and overlap, just because there is that parallels and overlap does not mean those symbols are inherently bad. This point being made has nothing to do with “sources”.....

I guess he's hoping we won't research the connections on our own. Too much emotion not enough facts.
