I like the way you think sir
MAN!! I'd LOVE to own that mustang. It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I still want to go back and watch every video you uploaded where you were building that thing. I LOVE that color too!! It really is THAT build that made me think that subscribing to your channel would be a good idea... and while I haven't seen you complete any of those projects yet, I like your ambition - and it's very entertaining, that's for sure. For as staid as my Dad was... and the atmosphere/tone he kept in our garage growing up, I couldn't believe ANYONE could do such good work while being so crazy. Thanks for sharing these. I'm disabled and on a limited budget, and so with Bidenomics there just isn't room in my budget for anything extra... hell, there wasn't room in the budget for the Vet when my cat got sick and I had to surrender him to the ASPCA... so - otherwise, I'd be buying AT LEAST a sticker... but maybe some other stuff too. Keep up the crazy good work.
It was -50° in western Canada last week. About 4°f this week
Don't scrap the T50 trans, someone could need that. A piece of hose with a bolt in one end makes a good cap.
100% could help with a winter shop. 24x40 I am in New Smyrna Beach Florida. Have a great day. Patrick
We got 9 inches of snow here in East Tennessee. Next weekend it’s going to be in the 70s

Wife was expecting 12" only got 7 😅
Don't forget that you have to change the oil pan and pickup for the rear sump because it has a front wheel drive oil pan on it..i can't wait for this build
I have a 1,200 Sq Ft heated shop with every tool you would ever want with a 2 post hydraulic lift an 86” TV with surround sound and a 22’ x 16’ mancave attached with a 70” tv and surround sound with a Big Buck Hunter arcade game, racing sim and a fully stocked bar and refrigerator! There is currently a 500hp LS swap in a 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer build happening and my 13 Rubicon is on the lift getting prepped for Moab and my 2024 GMC 2500 AT4 sitting in the detail bay but I bet I could slide you in there😅! I also have an available master bedroom with a master bath and spare bedroom you could use, so pack up and head here! Love the channel and keep it up!
*Those RX8 seats are...* Interesting
K swaps are awesome! The power you get from them is amazing!
Bags are really good for drift cars
You are a better man than me working in those conditions 👍🏾👊🏽
I love this! Your car is my cars twin. I’ve had a turbo k24 in my 86 for a few years now. I’ve got s13 front suspension and a full s13 rear subframe under mine.
I don’t know much about those engines, but the Toyota pickups 22r engines have value in parts. The carb, valve covers, distributor, ignitor/coils, cylinder head (if not toast) as the toyota castings are sought after to rebuild. I bought a bad 22re engine, and sold all the accessories and made $400-500 parting it out. And kept a few bits for my own build.
Don't mind you complaining. I understand lol. I'm over in KC and my starter went out on my escalade and had to replace it. Thank goodness that it was a very easy thing to do. Fingers were frozen!
You have to bag it!! Don’t forget the under glow too!😂
As a Texan, it is neat to see how you fellas take snow on your cars, and two... come on down!
The yellow snow 😂
"I had a headache with pictures, its like an idea", absolutely hilarious
Nice one! Thanks for sharing with us.
Always tie an couple old tires to front of the push vehicle 5 minutes to save tail lights.. I had the hatch back back in the day , but it was not in demand back then. None of my cars were , 68 mustang,73 charger,78 bronco ,the list is long when you are old
Awesome. Slam it no bags. Make it strictly a screamer. No fancy poo.
So glad I live in south still no snow here in SC ❤❤🎉
😂😂😂😂 I was crying with the yellow snow
I live in Fresno California a.k.a. the armpit of California. It gets very cold where I live, but never snows probably once every 10 years.
I know u always put custom rims on your rides, but with this u should either keep stock or just powder coat them. It's just the stock rims help define an AE 86. Love all the builds brother
Just gonna say it, considering how much of a pile this is, and because this man is known for crazy fab work, I would not be AT ALL surprised if we see a Hatchiroku conversion on this Toyota!
Look into swapping the oil pan and pick up tube and getting timing chain cover with a baffle. Under hard accelerating and hard breaking the oil will run away from the pick up tube. Also those seats are worth 400-800 bucks.
You might be able to get the piston back in the caliper if you pop it out with compressed air then push it back in with the C clamp.
I’m in Missouri also, this wind chill been crazy stupid! Love the car!
brake line union and a plug works as a temporary cap
Probably too late to say, but hey why not. boosted k24 and a set of micks in the rear see if you can hit low 10’s on a budget 🥹 love the content 🦾🦾
Hoping to start this year on a k24z3 into NA Miata swap. Looking to keep stock engine reliability but having doubled the rwhp. Best part about small cars. They can be fast with small engines. Love the Japanese rwd stuff! And I damn sure do love me some flip-up headlights!
Come to Australia for your winter our summer! It's definitely warm here and we have some nice beaches too 🤣 only round the corner!
Casey make sure the brake cleaner does not have chlorine in it, when welding it can release phosgene gas which can kill. Don't want that to happen as l enjoy your channel mate. PS it was 36 C here in Aus today, stay warm!
I had a white 86 ae86, loved it
Clamp vice-grip pliers on the brake line.
Luv 2 see him make it a 2 door
I wish it snowed like that here in LA once in awhile but we 70 degrees year round.
I live like 150 mi away, I KNOW how cold it's been. I hate the cold and never want to work on a car in this. Nice work. Hang in there
I like your style of putting gas in it to make sure the job is done 😂 me and my best friend took a half blown up buick park ave and make it to a truck, the El buick
New shop must install a snow plow for it😁
I have rental properties In east Tennessee. Lol no beaches but still nice 👌
lol i have that same lost time sign in my garage. Came out of an old mill building a buddy owned
You know, if you keep the Rx8 seats in it, and leave the red valve cover on, it would look amazing painted as a red panda ae86 (red on top with black on bottom and a solid black line above the bottom part)
I sure don't miss the cold and snow. Moved to San Diego from Chicago..
Oh hell yeah, the G8 / 50 Chevy swap sounds GREAT!! Nobody does it like my boy!
Yes Casey don't eat the yellow or brown snow even Eskimo children know this lol That was pretty funny. Glad you got the engine and trans out without cutting any wires. on my 1952 Dodge power wagon M37 build the wiring was pretty much crumbling away so redoing the wiring on it is kind of a pain. Thanks for the video.
"Headache with pictures" LOL
Thats a light amount of snow, i got about double that up in Canada and im as south as you can get
an idea for in the height set up, get factory type struts, shocks, and springs. you can cheat the look a lot with big tires and rims on these.
Spray nine is a great cleaner one of the best degreaser I have used
Bad ass can't wait for the 50 chevy
That has happened to me before when I bought something off of marketplace and it didn't work and I messaged them and told them and then they immediately blocked me! The blocking response time was way better than the response time when I was trying to buy it! 😅
Bag it !!!! This will be bad ass
Ae86 would look so badass slammed next to the civic😮💨
Dude, studpack youtube channel is in texas, and it was 8 degrees during the day for days. Move to phoenix Az for winter time. It's in the 50s here during the day and low 40s at night when you guys are in the single digits or even negative degrees. It's cheaper than southern cali (where its alwo warm), and warm even during artic blasts the last couple years.
IT'S SO FUNNY CASEY, if you were used to snow ❄️ 🌨️ living like the people up north, you would've gotten the snow off first outside then bring the car in, helps with all that mess. Great comedy though! Scrapping and brooms come first, then moving of object commences. I love how Casey is a lot like the comedians Jerry Lewis, Chris Farley, or Steve Martin. Great entertainment for the whole family! Anyway, thanks for the video 📸.

I don’t scrape snow when it’s -8, I’ll take the mess in the heat 🤣
Time to build a new heater !!! Propane tankless water heater.. large water to air intercooler.. fan to push air and 5 gal tank and 3 gpm water pump...
You should refinish and keep those mkii Supra wheels on the car! It fits the time of the vehicle very well.
Engine bay 🔥🔥🔥🔥
DUDE CASEY! That bare metal Mustang 🐎 LOOKS SOOO SWEET! I especially love 💕 that it's a WIDE body now. It looks similar to a widebody 1970 Challenger, but it's a cool Mustang instead! Great job Casey on your projects. Keep up the good work 👍. Thanks.
If you use a heat gun and go over the thick oil like on the crossmember and get it to melted and soft then degrease it it comes off so much easier
Bad weather? Yes, vary good content also yes. Thank you Casey you are truly inspirational.

When you don’t have the wheel lock key, You can just hammer a socket onto it use the impact to take it off usually pretty hard to get the socket off it later though
Bags would look this car so awsome... first statement to a 5,000 hr build
Definitely bag it!!!!!!!!
About to go fish that carb out you’re dumper 👀
Hey I'm a state over in iowa! Been watching for awhile and awesome your from mid West too. Love it even more now
Pontiac G8 is a rebadged Holden Commodore. Classic Aussie taxi.
Bout time. I've been waiting for this one.
It would look sick on bags
😂 I love watching people who don't know how to deal with snow try to clean it up.
Weather sucks here too
I found out if I answer someone after I sell something it's usually easy to work out any issues
@CaseysCustoms I keep the rubber nipples from new fuel pumps works perfect
Casey, while we all love the garage setup, you are allowed to get a lift you know :P
finally one build I'm interested to watch
Yeeeess! K24 BABY! Perfect for this car. Might I recommend a K20 head? They breathe better and for the K24 block, which is more robust and allows for more BOOM.
Just put the brakeline back on the caliber ,don't mount it to the caliber bracket ,push the piston out by pumping the brakes then you can either clean the piston you have or get a rebuild kit or a new caliber but it'll serve yhe purpose you're looking for
Should have brushed the snow off outside, thats just an Alaskan, then no snow and ice to work in... good stuff here
Come on down to the big AZ..
ANOTHER AWESOME VID MAN! Definitely recommended some sort of cheap adjustable set of coilovers, being able to get the ride hight perfect the first time and not have to wait for another set of coils to rock up in the post is definitely a good feeling 😂Definitely keen to see this build finished, will most definitely be quicker then the bmw mustang 😂👌🏾
Bro! Yall could come stay with us! I got a datsun 620 that runs, but needs some work!
That one with the v8 you should def turn pro street with the big fat meats on the back
Yesssssss!!!
Im in Iowa, i feel your pain! Or dont feel your pain because my fingers are frozen too! 🤬 winter!
i have a 50 styleline coupe in the barn right now would be cool if i can find a g8 chassis and follow your build to build mine✌
Casey, your and your family are welcome to come and live with me all I ask is if you could build me a ford model A coupe slammed hot rod 👍🏻 Thank you,Andy.
They sell a locking lug nut master key set at harbor freight, welding a nut on works but maybe that could save you some time and effort in the future
I’m in Port Saint Lucie we Jensen and Fort Pierce beaches near. I have a Datsun 510 wagon project i just picked up. Come on!😁plus we will feed you guys
The wind chill in Oklahoma has been -16°! That's flippin' cold! 🥶 Nothing worse than working on cars when it is that dang cold, the busted knuckle feels like you just took it off completely! 😅
Please come to Florida I have a new project that would be great for your ch😁
My man trying to piss of Honda and Toyota fans at the same time. 😂😂
Please for the love of God do not destroy that G8. Especially if it's a G8 GT GXP 😢😢😢
When are we going to see progress on the impala??
Call that a Holden hsv clubsport in my country
I’d use a zf5 trans out of a bmw. They’re quite a bit smaller, and they’re a solid trans
