    Super helpful, thank you! I have EDS and taping seems to really help my thoracic outlet pain as well. I'm going to try this technique.

    Thank you for this video, will be very useful! One quick question, does this apply to both posterior and anterior subluxations? I get mostly posterior ones so trying to find something that helps me address that

    Thanks for the comment! We typically use it more for anterior and inferior subluxations but it does work for posterior subluxations since it's meant to keep it more neutral position. The direction of pull on the tape will be different from back to front versus front to back

    If I had a full shoulder dislocation can I use this as well ?

    Yes you can but keep in mind this will not provide as much stability versus traditional McConnell Taping due the extensibility of the tape with K tape.

    Can you train with this on? I have experienced a few subluxations mainly from boxing, but also snowboarding. Always out of nowhere. As well , how would this compare to buying one of those shoulder braces for the same purpose?

  • @parrpt

    Yes you can train with it, it will just act as a stabilizer to reduce the amount of strain on the shoulder. To feel more stable, you would need to use McConnell taping since it doesn't allow much give.

    How can a sublucation heal completely without surgery?

  • @parrpt

    @parrpt

    It all depends on the person but the severity of the subluxation determines that. In most cases, the joint only partially comes out of the socket so typically the structures are not torn but more over stretched. Because of this, the body will go through its natural healing process but would require stabilization exercises after to reduce risk of occurring again
