My guess is that the lyrics are about the ferries that go between Helsinki and Stockholm. Käärijä usually does the lyrics, the music for Huhhahhei is apparently by Allu and Jukka. One of the things those ferries are known for are people using them for one-night stands. (The ferries are also infamous for other things but I won't mention that). Käärijä said in the live stream last night that it's about when he met a female on a "boat". It could be any boat of course. But my guess is that Käärijä doesn't know the English word for "ferry". To me as a Swede the lyrics just screams Baltic ferry. Those ferries take about 9 hours to 11 hours to cross the sea, depending on various factors. (I don't watch Eurovision videos any more but I make an exception for some Käärijä videos). Thanks for the reaction. 🤗

I am sure (as a finn) that it is about a ferry to either Stockholm or Tallinn 😁 And I am now feeling strongly the need to get to one of those cruises, because of this song. Not for a one night stand though, but just for all the other fun. Shopping, eating and partying 😁

It is Käärijä's 30th birthday tomorrow, October 21st. Looks like he will be "celebrating" by travelling from Scotland to Ireland. I hope he gets some cake at least. 🎂

There is Välikoulema and Viulunkieli. I often get them mixed up. I can't spell them without looking them up either. 😄 I think I still have Paidaton Riehuja as my fave Käärijä song. But this new song is definitely up near the top for me. It makes sense that he has switched to a more Cha Cha Cha sound, since that is what most people like to hear from him.

I love Paidaton riehuja too! In my opinion it gets played on the gigs way too rarely. I can't name one favourite song from Käärijä though, I love so many of them equally. Of course the new one always sounds the most awesome for a while, until I get used to it and it gets in the same line with my other favourites 😁

@@Sinivalkoseepra-yz1ke Nice. 😊 Yes. He did PH all the time early in the summer, and then he dropped it. He has done PH a few times now on the Euro tour though. I also find it hard to pick a top 5 or top 10 from Käärijä. He has several songs that are equally good.

Come on London, give him a warm welcome/send off. You can do it. 😃 (Yes I have selfish motives, I want Käärijä to have a good time so that he does more gigs outside of Finland). 🤣 I got no tickets to either the Euro tour nor UMK 2024. 😐 I have now resigned myself to the fact that I will have to go to Finland if I want to see Käärijä live. 😞 Edit, geographical ignorance. 🥴🤪

Only 2 British Isles gigs, the third one is in Ireland. (Ireland doesn’t recognise the term British Isles, just fyi 😉) Cannot wait for the Dublin gig!
