My favorites are Florida 2009, Wachtmuziek en Europapa, but I love so many of his songs. I'm going to see him in 3 weeks time at a festival here in the South of the Netherlands. Can't wait. Try not to get too emotional. Because Eurovision turned out to be a traumatic event. Hopefully I can leave that behind me once I am enjoying his performance on that festival. Yesterday he and his friends flew over part of the south of the Netherlands in a hot airballoon, that was great. He landed near here and many people came to see him, and cheered him on. That makes me feel good, knowing most of us have welcomed him in our hearts. ❤ Makes a little country big. ❤💙❤️💙❤️💙

I’m in the US, so I will just have to wait and see when I will get an opportunity to see him live. I love all his older music and am waiting to find out what happens with the charges. I have been studying Dutch for over a year, which adds an extra level of interest to any music or videos I watch. (Not that interested in American music. Everything I listen to is “international”.) Skipping the analysis of the video - there is so much context to the imagery - the line at the sampled at the end about overcoming his trauma is from the series “Overthinking It.” I love the video about Joost and have watched it so many times. Joost himself commented on it and thanked them. I highly recommend it. Looking forward to more of your videos. ❤

I went on a little search on his background/ life story and found out I have many things in common with Joost. And then saw the videos of Pinkpop and Wechter, and all his songs by now. Im nobody's fan, but I do admire genuine ppl. And Joost is genuine, he makes you think, he surprises, amazes, makes you laugh, and makes you cry. Joost is his own masterpiece. 2nd year in a row the jury decides who wins and not the people. Jury voting is fairly new and needs to be reviewed, either abolished or heavily diminished. 1997-2008 when televoting was introduced there was ONLY people votes and no juries. We need to restore the original format. Finland 2023, Croatia 2024 winners.

@Zycoreination You have it backwards: the original format at Eurovision was juries only, for about forty years. So televoting is the ‘fairly new’ thing.
@ZycoreinationАй бұрын
@@oscarfernald9402 Yes and no, jury voting was at first due to the lack of sufficient system to make public able to vote and also the lack of popularity among the general public across Europe as a whole with only a few countries really getting into the Eurovision spirit and nowhere near affordable or practical, in 1997 televoting was introduced because there was a solid voting system by phone able to be introduced, costs were manageable and a rise in popularity of the contest.
