Excellent Video. Mine had a very stiff motor. Bit of light lube oil on the motor shaft with a few spins and it was back in business. Not sure how long for though as it appears moisture has found it's way inside.

Fantasic video, many thanks! My WV2 died completely but now running as new. I used a Samsung 25R 18650 (2500mAh) Li ion battery with solder tags from battery101. The tags needed trimming slightly to fit into the slots.

T8 Torx. A long 100mm bit will be fine.

Spot on mine was a seized motor, quick spray of contact cleaner then silicone lube job done

Use a screwdriver to prise out the black just above the charging socket, you will unclip it. then you have to so the same at each side, closer to the back. slide a screwdriver in and wiggle towards the back.

The new battery that you install, is more powerful, lasts longer? Do you know if this possibility exists? A battery that lasts much longer than the original one that does not last at all charged, I await your answer, greetings.

I did repair my WV5. The flat flex cable was slightly damaged and corroded. Ordered a new one from Aliexpress.

Hi, great video. I took my vac apart and there seems to be a green lubricant/gel type substance around the seals and on the PCB. Is this normal do you know?

Hi, great video and I am just about to order a new battery. I could not see on the battery you removed that it had solder tags but the new one does. So do I need to buy a battery with solder tags? I love being able to fix things like this :)

Is that superglue? Water got inside mine and the fan keeps lifting, runs fine with no load but as soon as I reassemble it the same happens again. Thanks.

how to connect TP4056 with ON/OFF button?

OMG not easy to complete take it ALL apart just to replace the battery!

The battery doesn't come out you've pre done this. My battery is fixed to the metal contact and cannot come out without breaking the contacts and re soldering. This cannot be done the way your showing. I've tried it today.

Is it a 18650 battery with tabs?
