Once he was coming out of HMV downtown Toronto like maybe 20 years ago and I couldn’t believe my eyes and I’m like “k OS” and he took 2 or 3 more steps like he wanted to get away then he suddenly stopped and put his head back like saying “ah fuck” and he came back to me and gave me 5 and I said “ I love u man your one of my favourite artists “ and he was like “ thanks man, I’m in real hurry brother” and I said “ no worries Man, thanks for stopping” and he ran across the street. I wish I had asked him what CD he had just bought that was in the bag.

Dude, K-os released the cartoon video (cheap production cost) atleast 1.5-2 years before this video. The song then became a big hit, especially in the states (where India Arie heard of him plus he toured there) and she, along with maestro fresh wes, the dj from MuchMusic at the time, and others agreed that it was a great song that needed more airplay (and K-os was getting bigger at this time) and wanted to support K-os, hence their appearances in the video. New Music also covered this.

Have the CD. Love it to this day👍👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
