K-ON! - Yui practice Solo (guitar cover with tabs & chords)
Thank you so much for watching!
I really like this anime scene.
It looks like Yui likes the guitar very much:)
I think it's important to play the guitar sound with a crunch tone, and to add strength and weakness:D
I hope you enjoy!

If you're struggling to learn this song, know that it's totally understandable. It's much more complicated and difficult than it sounds. - You need to have your barre chords down and be able to switch between them easily. (That took me about 2 years) - If you've never learned 7th chords, Slash chords or even diminished chords you'll need to practice them. - The strumming pattern is difficult for three reasons. First, it greatly changes throughout the song so you need to isolate each individual pattern and practice it individually before mixing it with the rest. Secondly, there are ghost notes (the X) and if you're unfamiliar with ghost notes you'll need to practice how to incoporate them in your playing. (Look into funk guitar to practice them) Thirdly, the rythm can sound and feels weird to play. Some notes are played on the upbeat and that's really weird if you're used to only strum on the downbeats. In addition, if you're used to change chords at the begining of the measure or in the middle, you'll have to learn how to change chords before the end of the measure which again is really weird if you're not used to it. It took a lot of time to learn this song and I'm almost up to full speed. Don't give up and keep learning. There are so many things in this song that'll make you a great guitarist. If you learn how to play this song, you'll probably have a MUCH easier time to learn other songs. It forces you to become a good rythm player which is essential for learning any song. Good luck guys !

so glad i found this. i learned this song like a decade ago but dropped guitar for a long while and recently picked it back up and looked up tabs to relearn this. all the other tabs something felt off and were way harder chords than i remember playing. but this one felt just like i remember and feels right. thanks so much!

usually it's inferred by the player when reading/practicing the tab, however sometimes with arpeggios it will show the direction

You can try it by feel if you can’t get it from the tab. It’s in 4/4 and I mostly have my pick hand move up and down with 1/8th or 1/16 notes and I strum or pass over the strings as if I was tapping the rhythm - it was much easier when I stopped thinking about it. But Yui’s reverse windmill should always go up.
Im struggling on the pattern of the strumming , can anyone help me

if u r still learning it and need it, it changes throughout but ill give u the start of it cut its too much and after a bit im sure you can learn it by ear i learned it just by playing around, ive only been playing for 2 months so it maybe a tiny bit off bit yeh anyways as per the chord first hit - low e string then it goes ↓↑↓↑↓↓↑ - then low e 2 times and again ↓↑↓↑↓↓↑ -then it repeats 1st patter - and then it changes to ↓↑↓↑↓↑↓↑↓↓ - then repeats the first two again - then ↓↓↑↓↑↓↓↓↑↓↓↑↓↑↓ , These are all in accordance to the chords , if you are still wanting to learn it u can just ask for the rest
