The K&F Concept 3-Way Geared Tripod Head might just be the solution to camera creep. Which always happens to me when using certain ball head tripod mounts. Good stuff. I’ve looked into different tripod heads myself but haven’t found the need for a geared one yet as I do not have a telephoto lens that large that would require it I suppose. When I finally do get one, I’ll check out this head that you’ve got.

Hi Amy and thank you for swinging by! I have heavy glass that always creeped when using ball heads, but not anymore! Geared head to the rescue!

Good video TC. A couple of years ago I got the Benro gear head as suggested by Nick, it really works great, on a regular ball head (I've tried many different tones) I was having issues with it creeping down and screwing my composition, and it wasn't a big lens, something like a 28-120. I didn’t want to keep changing it from one tripod to another so instead of getting another Benro a couple of months ago I got this K&F and it’s permanently mounted on the second tripod, I can’t really say that one is better than the other, they both work great, you're really going to enjoy using it. Hi Enrique, and thanks so much for your great comment. I was undecided on whether or not to get the Benro because I looked at it too. I figured either one would be a good buy. I’m learning which knob to use for making each adjustment, thankfully it’s a pretty flat learning curve for my 68-year old brain. I think this might be one of the best gear investments of the year so far. 💜👍🏼💜

@@TC_Conner For me it is a great investment because it put an end to my frustration trying to maintain a frame/composition, I haven't used a regular ball head since I bought the geared head ones. Now I’m not sure if the suggestion came from Nick or Dexter, but it was definitely a good one.

nice one TC 🙂 I used to have a Benro one which was invaluable when I shot landscapes with medium format kit. I'm sure you'll enjoy the head and et some great images. But you really should invest in some macro gear - even if it's just some macro extension tubes for now. Macro opened up a whole new world for me, and it si really really addictive 🙂

For whatever reason, surprised to see that I’ve been unsubscribed and therefore must subscribe again… like 3x. I did, then it says error. Then again… returned to being unsub.. and finally success.
