Mr K-1 :) The late Andy Hug battles Maurice Smith.
This was all Hug...Mo (Smith) was very hesitant and could not get anything on Andy. Typical Andy show ~good match.
Andy was also recognized big in Japan. This footage also shows how wholehearted Hug was with his fans ~ Here's one who's been wanting to meet his hero~

Best of all!!! Andy was so nice with him as he could have finished the battle sooner... many times he avoid kicking or punching combinations. Great person and a greatest Legend. RIP.

No he practices kyokushin, not muaj Thai. Music Thai guys are not at all used to defending his low kicks, axe kicks, and spinning shit.

@@sexywhite7198 oh hehahaha i was talking about Maurice Smith and the early ufc days lol but yeah kyokushin kai is one of my favorite striking arts and discipline as well im a big fan karate myself
22 and he was a huge fighter, I'm 22 and what do I am? Only a Brown belt. Well, Randy couture ufc debut was when he was at his 30's, so... I have time

Andy has great kicks. Usually Mo is the better kicker in his fights. Andy took it easy on Mo and showed some respect and affection for him. He could have tried to hurt him more after Mo got injured. A bit like a sparring session, like when Mo lost to Aerts. They take it easier in old age, no sense getting hurt, an understanding among the old pro's, it seems to me anyway.
