Heya everyone!
Been a while since the last new Infinite Eclipse track - sorry about that, I've been pretty busy nowadays (and, not gonna lie, quite not musically inspired). So, this track isn't something big or special or epic: it's a small track about a certain "item" that will appears in the "Infinite Eclipse: Origin" novels series!
Naegissa's m̶̼͖̌̓̏͂ú̴̺̩s̸͈̍î̸̡̺͉č̷̟̪̙̕ ̷̠̈́̓̚b̸͍̾̍ö̷̯̺̻́͂̅ẍ̷̺́̓̌ is... quite a mysterious and ancient thing. The horrifying look of it seems to share some of the traits of a being that Naegissa would refer to the "N̷͍̂͘î̸̦͘͜g̵͓̟̥̣̉͌͛̕h̸̛͙͓̭̍̾̕t̵̩̭̱̟͑̿m̷̼̈́a̷̤̘̦͍̅̆r̶̞̥̤͒͐̚e̷̪̳̬̟̿s̴̬̲͍̞̐ ̸̗̲͕̞͒͒͑̀D̸̡̟̅ȇ̴̢̳͇̃͋͛i̵̱͗̌ṫ̷̤͐ỵ̶̢͖͑͝".
When it plays its m̴̫̚e̴̛̞͇͜l̶͚̕͠͠o̶͚͍͖͑͆́̆d̵̳͆͘͘y̷̝̚, one can hear some very light ẃ̵̜͓̙h̸͍̒̊͊ͅi̵̜̲̤̗̒̒͠s̶͉̿̍̽͜͝p̸͓͈̦̊̈́̕e̶͔͗̾͌͌r̵̲̦̱̂š̸̨̬̜͖́͋. One can feel the cold embrace their body. One can see an e̵̫͖͂̈̍͠ẗ̶̜̟́h̵͚͌͗e̸̬̎r̷̤̺̱̜̋̓̔ę̷̪̙̐̌å̷͕͌̆̒l̷̰̰̠͛ ̷̺͋͝d̸̨̹̻͑̐a̶̮̹̍̊r̵͎̲̻͊k̴͍͎̀ ̶͔͚̖̲̅̋s̶͙̈́m̴̨̛̗̭̱̾̐̿ō̷̫͉k̵̤̯̀̈́e̸͍̬̭̐̈́̈͜ coming from it. One can see, from the corner of their eyes, some strange shadow lurking.
But one cannot remember its existence or anything related to it. They're only left with a deep, internal and constant fear, never knowing where it comes from.
"B̷̡̧͍̘͌̍̕l̷̟̮͛̽̉ä̷̢̯͍͈́͌̿c̸̟̎k̵̥̲̳͐͝͝ ̵̹̥̯̘̀̕M̷̨̢̼̑́͜ȉ̸͎͚̹̓s̷̝̬̥̐t̶̢̗̃̿̎̆ͅ" seems to be the name of that m̶̡͙̫̖̓ǔ̶͎̬̣̋͒̚ś̴͕i̵͖̿̕c̶͔̋͂͆ ̶̢͔̞̓͋͒b̶̡̖͂̑̂ͅǫ̷̨͑̃͋x̴͇̒̐ that is so dear and precious to Naegissa.
You might have obviously recognised the melody of it, as it is the same melody as the final part of "Praise Nerath", with the choirs!
Now, here are some news I'm able to share with y'all:
- Regarding the Primordial Pantheon, the next theme should theoretically still be Virtus' theme, though I have to say that I have some difficulties to find inspiration nowadays (blank page syndrom, I guess?).
- The next big "Infinite Eclipse: Prequel's Finale" track, named Heroes Shall Vanquish, should hopefully be released this year but I cannot guarantee it as I'm not the only one working on that track (there are some edit yet to make).
- There's a track I plan to sing on, but I still have to have the lyrics (and, obviously, record the vocals, see if it fits) that will PROBABLY be sung from the pov of Big Mac, protecting Applebloom from her Molten sister
- A theme/song about Ayzat (from Infinite Eclipse: Origin) is in the work
- A metal cover of "Onward" is planned for early 2023
- Some other projects under NDA
- Regarding IE:Origin novels series, I almost finished the notes (in French) for the 5th chapter (out of 9). Starting chapter 6, bigger things and main events are happening so I assume I'll be more inspired and, eventually, quicker to write the notes. To explain again how it'll work, I first write all the notes in French, then I translate it in English, then I write all the lore/information needed for that first volume, then send that to a pro co-writter to write the final product (then there are more steps during that process but, overall, that's it).
In any case, hope you'll enjoy the track, even though it's a really short one!
