I am having the same issue with mine. I got the 8900 evo2 and am putting them into an 89 Toyota pickup. Did you figure out what the issue was?

I’m gonna put them in my 92 Toyota pickup, any advice on how to fix the issue?
I needs a extra wire harness, because Toyota uses a double grounding system. There not wired correctly.

Yeah in my fix video I learned it's called a positive ground bc LEDs did not exist back then I guess. 👌👌👌

Pretty sure the trigger is a negative instead of positive.

I could be wrong. I needed to get an adapter harness to make them work. If you check out my next video I explain (hopefully correctly) what the problem was.

you may have to swap one of the wire to make the high beam work

Didn't work. It's not polarity that's the issue. Next video I cover the fix.

The issue is the headlights were designed for a switching positive wire to high beams, however the car is using a switching negative wire system. You need a conversion harness with relays.

@@puffnpluky76 Yes, that's common on Japanese cars. When using halogens, like is originally intended to, it obviously works just fine, but LEDs are diodes, that do not work both ways. So it is about polarity. Additional relays might be needed to get them working. That's how I’d do it anyway.
Not worth $500 if it doesn't work out the box imho

It's not jw speakers fault. It's just the way the mk2 supra was designed. After using it for a bit. Def worth it imo
