That's why I love my former martial arts school. Taekwondo, but not only are the instructors very knowledgeable to the origin of the art, yet at the same time, modernizing some of the forms & weaponry to work in a real-life fight. 3 of the owners were in the Olympics & are just amazing. Had to move away for work, so sad I can't train with them anymore.

COOL! that's in the top 10 biggest issues. Well that and avoiding a fight. BJJ I can't imagine that'd be a good idea if you couldn't run. Do you reely want to be around a panicking mass or feet, that aren't doing anything to break this up. And on concrete, or a floor, or or what ever?

I once saw a Opossum beat the daylight out of a Taekwondo black belt on a heavily trafficked natural trail. There was like 10 of us looking on in complete astonishment. And, No. The Opossum did not know any BJJ. Streets, or nature trail, relying on Taekwondo, IMHO, is a bad I idea.

He's telling the truth. I trained Muay Thai. The problem was it was terrible on the ground. I trained B.J.J. Problem was, it was bad on stand up game and it would allow their friends to kick you in the head. Beat Martial Art out there is Krav Maga.
