JW GROM is a Polish special forces unit and forms part of the Special Troops Command of the Polish Armed Forces. The unit's main name is GROM & another name is Jednostka Wojskowa 2305 (Military Unit No. 2305). GROM operators gained the nickname "The Surgeons" due to their extensive medical training and knowledge and their surgical ability to coordinate and execute special operations. GROM was formed in 1990 with training provided to the initial GROM operators by the US Army Delta Force and the British Army Special Air Service.

I will tell you a cool fact that I learned from a GROM soldier. Namely, when the British SAS trained together with GROM, they preferred to train with GROM, and when NAVY SELAS also trained with GROM, they also preferred to work with GROM rather than SAS. There must be something to it.

Bylem w niemjetskim wojsku, (422 brigada, Batalliona, 5tka Kommpania pierwsy...Zug Zapomnialem po Polsku jak to"zug"...) na od 1996 do 2000 ale......Moze zrobilem blond wtedy. Przeprazam. Sebastian
