Also, nick with all due respect but you don’t know anything about Juve or their history… you predicted Roma will finish top 3 with all the players they bought look where they at right now!!! It’s about having class that’s what you do for a guy who brought you multiple trophies you wouldn’t know anything about supporting a real club cause you switch clubs like we switch underwear! Juventus is not just your mediocre club and trust me there’s lots emotion involved. And his not failure especially after what they’ve been going through past two year.

Agree with Marco about Calafiori. I think this guy is a critical point on Motta's tactic especially on the transition between phases. Really hope Juve brought him along with Motta. Zirkzee is a crucial aspect as well, but he won't come. Another problem for Motta is midfield and offloading some players.

With someone like Motta in charge, I can see Chiesa returning to his best (as we saw under Pirlo and under Mancini in 2020), Locatelli (as we saw under De Zerbi at Sassuolo and Mancini during the Euro 2020 group phase), Vlahovic (Italiano at Firorentina) etc. If they give Soule a chance on the right in a 433, bring in the likes of Calafiori and Koopmeiners, continue to bring their young talents through .... they could be very strong again next season.

Not competing for the title is always a failure when it comes to Juventus. Winning is all that matters in this club, it's within the DNA of Juventus. Settle for less and you set yourself up for failure, which is not acceptable. I agree that Allegri deserves a proper send off, sadly he ruined that for himself. Allegri was the one who lost his cool after the final, so let's not say it's the management's fault. Every serious club would've fired him after that, it's not a good look for a coach to behave like that, a coach should be a role model.

We have to seperate his tenures. When he first took over Conte had built the foundation of that team and Allegri did wonders with that squad. This time around he took over a broken team and he had to rebuild that team and he proved that he can't do that. His first run is one of the best in Juve history for a coach. His second run is a disaster that only tarnished his legacy. This sack was long overdue.

Coppa italia is a fair achievement. But saying he picked with broken players is not the right way to put it. He's the one who picked to play with 3 at the back, sign weah and kostic to do so, ao he put that on himself, regarding he had chiesa, vlaho, yildiz and Bremer. He's had his time.

Coppa is a fair achievement, one that the club set as an objective which he achieved. 3. Allegri doesn't CHOOSE to sign any players, that's not his role or job; I don't believe he desired ANY of those players that were purchased. Regarding Chiesa, he hasn't been the same since his injury, Vlahovic was injured the entirety of last season but played much better this season, Yildiz is like, 17? Allegri was gonna go anyway so it’s not much of a big deal he’s going with 2 games left. And from what I’m hearing he’d be suspended anyway. Thiago Motta now knows that the spot is open and all he gonna do is sign the contract as the rumors suggest. Never like Allegri’s coaching style and tactics but wish things unfolded better in the end. As Milan fan I want Juventus to be at their best for the sake of Italian football and players. I was unhappy for the player Chiesa became, a player with so much potential. With Thiago Motta, we’d see how Chiesa will play.

The squad is never good enough! Any coach will struggle to build the attack with these players. With the absent of Pogba, they cannot build up from the center area because the lack of creativity and strength. They forced Cambiasso to fill in the role in recent games (coming from the sides to the middle area to provide assist). They cannot move to the wide area because lack of explosive and effective players on that side, both winger and full back position. Consequently, they have to play with 3 center backs. The center backs timing to block first attacking ball from the opposite is just awful, especially the one in the middle (Bremer position). Fail to block will jeopardizes the entire defense area, because the two sides center backs will need to cover the lost ball and wide area completely open, hence we never play with wide defensive players because of the above reasons. So overall, Allegri did a good job transforming this mediocre team to finish on UCL spot and won the Coppa.

Giuntoli along with the management will be under huge pressure for next 3 or more years until they win serie A. The team might play better but it doesn't guarantee a trophy. They will soon understand that at Juve winning is the only thing that matters. One day Agnelli will come back and so will Max. I'm sure of it. This higher management don't know what it means to represent Juve. I hope they won't turn us into Napoli.

  • @sasales
    @sasales26 күн бұрын

It's really simple, there are two aspects to keep in mind, political and sports. Allegri was the only one left from the Andrea Agnelli reign. Allegri was a dead man walking as soon as Agnelli left. The sports aspect was under everyone's eyes since Allegri got sacked the first time. When he was winning. His style of play was and always has been terrible to watch. That's why they made the change with Sarri. When Allegri came back he made it about him and not about Juventus. "You guys sacked me the first time and now you're calling me back, now i'll show you." was his attitude. Calling him back was Andrea Agnelli failure. Allegri was sent away from Milan for the crappy play his team produced, again, back then. Then his insane reaction after the Coppa Italia, he handed a great opportunity to John Elkann and he took it to get rid of Allegri. I'm so happy Allegri is gone and now i can watch games again. Forza Juve sempre, e comunque.

A classless move by a club continuing to descend into chaos. It was probably Allegri's time to go, all things considered, however the man achieved the objectives that were set by the club from the beginning of the season (qualifying for CL & winning the Coppa Italia). This squad was never truly in contention for the Scudetto. The numerous issues Allegri and his staff had to deal with since his re-appointment; the off field scandals and bogus points deductions, Pogba and his endless injuries, shamans and illegal substances, Fagioli's gambling issues, a mediocre midfield with zero creative sparks or reinforcements ... most coaches would have jumped ship, but Allegri stuck through it and kept the team going. The team had some lacklustre displays, but they were also capable of showcasing that they could play well, as they did for decent stretches this season and in the Coppa final - clearly with limitations given the lack of creativity and depth. The man deserved a better send off, and imo, probably earned the right to see his contract through because if you *REALLY* think Motta is the solution, then you're out of your mind. This is eerily reminiscent to when they sacked Ranieri and hired Ferrara or when they axed Max the first time for Sarri ... both don't end very well.

If Max hadn't gone insane during and after the game he wouldn't have been terminated until after the season.

To be honest Marco I think maybe Juve were afraid of what Max would say or do. Better to let him go and pay him off to keep quiet. Allegri 2.0 has been an absolute failure from start to finish. The club has been going downhill under max. The stadium is like an empty church on a Monday. Long time fans are giving up their season tickets. It's not right I think Juve expected max to fall on his sword out of respect but that was never gonna happen. I think that was a source of disagreement.

I think the sacked of Allegri, was fair enough. He did his team with the club, he won the trophies. But I think it was a long overdue moving on decision, I think Motta could be a good choice to restart fresh and maybe change the atmosphere of the team

Motta shouldn’t leave Bologna. Stay with the team and see through the CL season. I find it gross how managers leave at the first asking, not considering how it affects the team they’re leaving. No respect. Bologna with no Motta and Zirkzee will be an embarrassment in Europe and finish 10th next season.

Juve were suffocating and needed a breathe of fresh air. He disrespected the club by his behaviors and now you want the club to respect him. He did not respect the club, fans and his team. Juve comes first not Allegri ball. If something is broken and can't be fixed then you replace it. He should blame himself first.

Those who want respect, give respect, I think Allegri knew he would be sacked acting the way he did, and that’s disrespectful to the club, so he gave the board no option but terminate his contract immediately !!

If Juventus decide to keep Vlahovic, Bremer and Chiesa altogether, means they need to sell Soule, Huijsen, and some other youngster. They need money to build.

@@thecontextual1one411 that's not how it work. The rumored transfer budget is 40m. Need many area to improve. Plus remember that Juve didn't play in UCL this season. Means expected net loss is huge. Plusvalenza from selling players help the club to avoid that.

It is a failure of a season Marco, because juve has the highest paying in wages both for players and the coaching staff. Allegri makes €15m a year, which part of that don't you understand? When juve doesn't win the scudetto and cannot mainatin ball possession against a 19th place team, and has zero shots on target against many teams this season, that is a complete failure.
