Juvenile Delinquency: Two Types of Criminal Careers

TRANSCRIPT: criminologyweb.com/juvenile-d...
This video is part of my FREE criminal psychology course "Explaining the Criminal Mind in 60 Minutes." You can get access for free at: www.criminologyweb.com/crimin...
This video covers the developmental taxonomy by psychologist Terrie Moffitt, who proposed that there are two types of juvenile delinquents: life course persistent offenders and adolescence limited offenders. In developmental psychology and criminology, this idea has been very influential, and I’ll go through the fundamentals.
You can find the study by Terrie Moffitt here: ibs.colorado.edu/jessor/psych...

Thank u so much. I have been studying criminology since 10 days but could not understand single school of thought and its terminology. Criminology is being studeid by me because I am taking competitive exam in Sind Police Pakistan for the post of Isnpector Investigation. Exhuasted from books, I visit youtube and got ur lectures here. These lecture are very useful but I am too late because I am taking exam day after tomorrow in which there is 25 percent portion of criminology. Nevertheless, these shorts videos can boost my understanding of the subject. At last, these lectures are so easy that a lay man can comprehend the subject without taking pains. Thank u madam.

Sure. It's meant as a broader concept that's not necessarily linked to one particular country.
