Multitalented actor and musician Justin Timberlake has sold more than 32 million albums worldwide, sold out arenas across the globe, received numerous awards and nominations, and become one of the most highly respected entertainers in the business. He released the four-times platinum song “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” from the film 'Trolls,' which debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was ultimately the best-selling U.S. single in 2016. The single marked Timberlake’s 10th Grammy and garnered nominations for Academy and Golden Globe awards. In February 2018, Timberlake released his fourth solo album, 'Man of the Woods,' which reached no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and he is currently on his sold-out world tour in support of the project. A gifted actor, he has appeared in a diverse slate of films, including 'Alpha Dog,' 'Bad Teacher,' and 'Shrek the Third.' He also earned strong reviews for his performance in the Academy Award-nominated 'The Social Network.' Named “one of the 100 most influential people in the world” by 'Time' in 2007 and 2013, Timberlake is a four-time Emmy Award winner for his appearances on 'Saturday Night Live,' and he recently added author to his résumé with the autobiographical book 'Hindsight & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me.'

"Your tenacity to define yourself through those failures will be your success.” I wish Justin could have told my 7 and 8 year old self that years ago. I am not a Berklee student, but I came to the commencement speeches to hear from some of my favorite performers who have received honorary degrees. even though I am transferring to Penn State University, I will carry their words with me as I finish college and earn my Bachelor's degree. CONGRATS to all the graduates! Justin has matured nicely here! On a personal note, Justin was my favorite member of NSYNC. I have an old poster of them from 1998 on my bedroom door, and it still remains there to this day. I had a Justin Timberlake doll, NSYNC toys, phones, books, CD's, videos, anything NSYNC that had Justin on it! I wanted them to remain together, but sadly, NSYNC broke up and Justin went solo; I totally understand his decision. Even though my NSYNC fandom has faded away now, and both he and I have moved on to different paths, I still support Justin in his future endeavors. I still miss those blonde curls he had when he was a teenager, lol! Congratulations Dr. Justin Timberlake, you deserve it! And yes, I still have all my NSYNC CD's from my childhood too!
Congrats JT and Berklee grads! My daughter attended Justin’s Q&A, said it was awesome. Can’t wait to see who speaks at her Berklee graduation ceremony next year!!
