The amount of research JJ put in for this interview is uncanny. From hoops to golf, very parallel on his approach to who he’s interviewing.

I know you guys want guests and coming at them probably isn’t the best way but Justin Thomas and Rory have been pretty outspoken on not playing the game for money, but there was numerous times on this podcast he referred to how much money he was gonna lose on each putt or missed shot or whatever. Would be nice for someone to actually kinda call them out on that. He said atleast have the balls to admit they play for money on LIV after listening to this podcast it feels like that’s kinda what he’s there for too 🤷‍♂️

I see what you mean but it’s very different. Liv has a high guarantee which means it’s ok to be on there, lose and collect a paycheck. You don’t need to bet on yourself. Some people like JT, woods and Jordan, are highly competitive, borderline obsessive competitive who want to bet on themselves and want the high pressure situations/putts. Different stages in life brings different desires. Some people want a legacy some people want money. Would you complain about a coworker who left for a higher paying job?

@@nathanieltylee2512 no I would never complain about someone leaving for a better situation. Why is that any of my business? Especially to comment on national broadcasts and interviews. The pga tour and players are just being super hypocritical and no one is calling any of them out on it.

Absolutely NOT a comeback. Inexperience was leading and collapsed. I mean, a double bogey on the last hole? I WILL say however, that Thomas being within a few shots, definitely made the leader feel the pressure.
