I woke up this morning and I was able to get out of bed and it was beautiful! Moving on, your song, has given me hope that I can move on. I've been in a mentally, physically, financially, and verbal abusive marriage for 28 years. Im a stay at home mom of 5 kiddos as well. Believe me when I say we have tried to leave. Hell we even ran all the way to S.C. once....took the kiddos, 3 dogs, 5 new puppies, 5 cats, a rabbit and our damn chicken Shirley bird! Long story short.... We still ended up back in our prison. Fast forward to today, my kiddos have growen into amazing human beings and Im fighting the good fight to be released from the monster my husband is. You sing my soul. I have not been allowed too sing my soul for so long, I literally do not know how too anymore. With all that I have, THANK YOU. You gave me my voice back of how to express how I feel and that I too can be proud of myself that I was able to get up this morning, put my feet on the ground and face this day with no fear.

God yes!! 22 years of a marriage with severe mental and physical abuse in front of my three daughters. And put them in safety so I could get away from their dad. I'm now with the most beautiful soul and, heart of a wonderful man. This was awesome what you said, thank you

I'm sorry to hear that first part of that heartbreaking story is all too common because I am still legally entangled to a similar man I endured much the same treatment that I accepted & settled for, for 23 years, but our marriage in daily practice ended when I removed myself from the situation to my own space (an aging, deteriorating rv in our driveway, because I put myself in a position that forces me to choose to be reliant upon the individual who chose to use that as the main method of manipulation, control, coercion & power) I'm ready for part 2 of my own story, sounds like Justin is as well with the recent album & future albums! Y'all give me hope that there's better when I start choosing it for myself!🙏❤️

Thank You Justin! I Broke Free from the bondage of a 3 yr. relationship where I was being lied to, constantly screamed at, always getting put Down, and cheated on. Until one day I sent him Both This Song and The Getting Over It. I took All of that Love that I wasted on him and gave it to God! I made some Serious Changes in my life! And Through that and several other relationships that were toxic, I learned that I Don’t Need Him or Anyone who would Ever Mistreat and Manipulate the Love that was So Selflessly Given. And I felt So Free after I Ended it!!! Love isn’t putting someone Down. It’s lifting them Up. Love is Understanding and Supportive in Each Other. It’s Not Painful. It leaves you feeling Happy. Not Sad or Confused. Most importantly, Love Feels Amazingly Beautiful!!!! It Doesn’t hurt or leave you feeling like you have to change or second guess yourself. Love is Accepting Love. I just found Blue October and you after a coworker told me about them after seeing them at Red Rocks. The first song I heard here on youtube was Where'd You Go and then Moving On came right after. My teammate in the trenches after being up all night working on a critical issue may have actually changed my life. And just that quick too. Seeing this come up in my search? About another 90 degree turn towards the good. My world has been very odd, especially the last 5 years. 3 of those still in isolation. And ya know? It's all worth it, no matter how bad things have gotten throughout my almost 50 years, no matter how bad the addictions or the abuse got - I overcame it and it's *all* worth it. Maybe it was just time for me to find Blue October - but I'm sure glad I did.

I’m glad you’re here now too, blue family. We are accepting and loving of everyone. Justin is so amazing. I have seen them now, Seven times. I have met him five times. the third time I saw him. I told him how he was my inspiration. to my at the time three years of sobriety. He told me that he was proud of me. He told me to be proud of myself. He told me I was worthy of love and happiness. He told me he loved me. He then said a prayer 🙏 for me. Afterwords giving me a big bear hug. Next month it will be six years. Last month when I met him for the fifth time. He remembered me. I told him how it has been almost 6 years now. He told me that he was so proud of me again. He then said another prayer 🙏 for me. Afterwords giving me a big hug. Telling me how much he loves me. He is so awesome to his fans. He has been my biggest inspiration. When it comes to my sobriety. Without him, I don’t think I would be here talking to you. for that, I am grateful for Justin. It took me years to realize this. My ex husband was physically and mentally abusive.( I was an addict for years also, been sober 17 years now )Finally got enough guts to leave that was almost 10 years ago. Was told I would never have kids now I'm in my 40s and I have a 4 and 7 year old. They make my life worth living and their father showed me what true love and compassion was all about and we celebrate life everyday, and don't allow toxic people into our life. Our favorite song is home we love to dance to it with the kids all the time. And my 4 year old son knows every word to your song oh my my. Keep doing what your doing I have always loved the music you guys put out.

I unfortunately am in somewhat of a toxic relationship. The problem is I love her to death. Justin has some amazing advice. I cannot wait to see them December 3. They’re playing at the rave in Milwaukee. It will be my ninth time seeing them. It will be my seventh time meeting him. The first time I met him, I told him he was my inspiration to my sobriety. he told me that he was proud of me and I should be proud of myself. He told me that I mattered to him. He told me that he cared about me. He told me he believed in me. He told me a prayer. He gave me a huge hug. He told me that he loved me dearly. Every year I see him him he remembers me. Every year I tell him it’s been another year sober. he congratulates me. He always tells me a new prayer. He always gives me a hug and tells me that he loves me. Every time I want to use I think about what he told me. It’s been six years now. Without his inspiration I wouldn’t be here. That’s why I started a channel dedicated to them. And I want it to be a community a family. A place where everybody is welcome. A place where everybody is respected. A place people can come when they’re feeling down. A place where other people help you bring you back up. I have helped talk people out of using again. I have talked people out of SUICIDE. You have saved me each and every day, I wrecked my Harley years ago, the head trauma messed me up so bad as well as being paralyzed for a few hours .in the years since my accident I've struggled to stay earth bound and I couldnt have made it thru the darkest period in my life ,if it wasn't for all you guys. I understand it completely. I had a skydiving accident in 2002. I have a fake hip and 17 screws and three plates in my right ankle. It has been very difficult for me. I have been on disability sense. A man in the fellowship who I adored has wasted more time getting their digs in over my mental health issues. Are they truly compassionate and forgiving? I always perceived that as being part of the program. But that was not my experience. I am heartbroken but still have extreme respect for the majority in the fellowship. I guess my point is nobody deserves to be treated poorly. I may have issues but I am not a doormat. You are truly an inspiration Justin. Thank you

Felt that! I think a lot of us don't realize that we are allowing ourselves to be manipulated into a trap that once you get caught in is so hard to claw your way out because you find yourself in way over your head & have a hard time holding onto your hope & faith that you can free yourself because the fear keeps you stuck going in circles & the mountain you have to climb seems too steep & insurmountable & the obstacles on the other side seem harder to overcome than staying where you're comfortable because of what you've become accustomed to tolerating. I'm sorry for your struggle Tracey! You will find a way when you are strong enough, truly ready & able! I'm right there with you! Trying to find my own way out as well, I have faith that all of us in similar circumstances have better lives waiting for us to find the path that will get us there! Stay strong & just remember that what you have gone thru will cause you to appreciate a better life & never take it for granted & always be humble & grateful because of what you've been thru. I thought my husband would kill me, but I survived. There are so many things that your missing out on. Wasting your life on some loser who is abusive, manipulative, and all around toxic behavior. Get rid of the weight and fly just like you always wanted to.

I've known Justin for awhile and got to sing Fear and Hate Me with him after he asked me to come out...He is the most Genuine, Loving person I feel lucky to have as a friend...He sat up and talked w me all night after that show in Orlando at HoB cuz he heard my ex tear into me and say I didn't deserve to share the stage, let alone sing with him...and Justin just said "I do", and he's the reason your husband and you are here. He asked for 2 all access passes for you & him for your Birthday and nothing for himself...I said you're my guest, but your ex that put you down when you made that Smart remark that cracked me up last year when we 1st met? Your here because he cares more about others than himself. He grabbed me heading to the bar and we shared crazy tour, music, life stories all night...to keep me from falling back into a hole many of us know to well 🤘❤️

@@broken1376 Wow, you actually got to go on stage and sing with him. He also stayed up with you all night and you got to talk to him. That is an amazing story. I wish I was able to hang out with him. I met him five times now. I went to seven of their shows. I was fortunate enough to meet him those five times. I just wish I was able to hang out with him like you did. That would be really awesome. That would probably be. What I would want most in the world. Just a chance to hang out with Justin. He is my inspiration to my six year sobriety. When I met him for the third time. I told him how he was my inspiration. to my at the time three year sobriety. He told me how proud of me he was. He told me to be proud of myself. He told me I was worthy of love and happiness. He told me he believed in me. Then he gave me a big hug. He told me he loved me. Then he said a prayer for me. The last two times I got to meet him. He remembered me. He told me how proud of me he was again. That I had maintained my sobriety. He again told me how much he loved me. He Said another prayer for me And gave me a huge hug. He is definitely genuine and cares about his fans. He is my biggest inspiration to my sobriety. I will always be grateful. for what he has done for me. Every time I wanted to use again. I just thought about what he told me. It has helped to keep me sober.

You don’t necessarily have to go out there looking for somebody. But you have to go out there to find them. Most of the best relationships I have ever been in. Including my current wife. Was by meeting them. without going out there looking. They just came into my existence. They just occur on their own. Those are the best relationships. @@pamdobran5754 It is definitely rewarding to help others. That’s part of why I have this channel. I want people to be able to reach out to other people on here if they need help. I will be here for you or anybody else if you need me. It is rewarding to help others. It helps us at the same time. That’s like when I was teaching martial arts. I was a black belt. I loved teaching children. Children that we’re having hard times in school. Children that were having hard times at home. After a month or two. These kids would be excelling at school. They would be more respectable at home. They actually did their homework. Their grades would improve. They started developing friends and social status. It was awesome to see them excel. Keep helping others out there. It definitely helps us at the same time.

Justin's mentality is so screwed up now. It's all about making himself/yourself happy. It's no longer about others. And you can just tell in his attitude at shows and in his songs that he's becoming more and more narcissistic. When I found out he filed for divorce against Sara, I wasn't surprised. The last couple of years I've noticed him change a lot. He was in a great place 7-10 years ago, but he seems to have spun out of control in his embrace of what he wants for himself, instead of what his wife and family needs the most. It's sad, because I appreciated who he was back then so much. But I can no longer stand him.

I have met him a few times in the past years. he was nowhere near selfish or narcissistic. He is caring about his fans. He told me he cared about me. that he loved me. He told me he was proud of all my sobriety. three times now. He told me that after three different concerts. he said a prayer for me. He loves his fans. I’m sorry you can’t see him for the way he is. I can understand what you’re saying however, we shouldn’t be narcissistic and hung up on ourselves. I don’t think Justin is however. He stays after almost every concert. To sign autographs. To hear peoples story. about hope and inspiration. To congratulate them on their sobriety. To pick them up when they’re down. I don’t see him doing any selfish or narcissistic things. I just met him after this concert. He just gave me an autograph. He said a prayer for me again. He told me how proud of me he was. He gave me a big hug. He keeps me focused on my sobriety. He does that with lots of people. I respect your feelings, however. I will not delete your comment neither. I think your feelings are valid. I think you are just misunderstood. @@BLUE_OCTOBER-TRIX That doesn't address anything I said. The guy has issues. Sure, he stays late after shows. And I can tell that he has a giant throng of women who are obsessed with him, and will defend him till their death. But to the objective world, the guy has serious issues, and is not doing what he always preached and claimed were his highest priority -- putting his family first. The guy worships himself now. It's what matters most to him now. If your work (in this case music) and your persona take precedence over the highest values in the world (your family), then you have issues. We all have our issues to some degree, but can recognize them and accept correction and grow as a man for the good of others. Justin now has become so blinded by his ego, when you listen to the video, you can see that in his mind NO one could ever tell him he's doing something wrong. He will just cut them out of his life, and live however he wants. And as a result I don't think he'll ever get back to the balance he once had. And he lost probably the biggest blessing he ever had (his wife), and even worse it will impact his children significantly as a result. Many people see this in him now, and personally I just can't stand him anymore.

All I know is what he means to me. To me, he’s been my biggest inspiration to my sobriety. I will never stop appreciating him for that. He is human and makes mistakes just like everybody else. He is not a God or perfect. Everybody has their own opinions, of course. Again, however, I don’t believe. That he is in it just for money or fame. I don’t think he has traveled off the path. That he was once doing good on. Again, we don’t know. what’s going on in his personal life. It is possible that his divorce. It was not because of his actions. Again, maybe his wife cheated on him. Also, again it’s none of my business. I still love him. for what he has done for me and others. you are entitled to feel any way you would like. We cannot, however.
