Pablo made this song as a tribute to the Frontliners as this was during the early days of Covid 19 pandemic. Ikako is short for Ikaw at Ako, in English, You and Me. We will conquer this together. And that's why there's no one around as we were on a lockdown. Fun Fact. They collaborated with a famous fashion designer to make a streetwear collection. The chunk of the proceeds will go directly to the purchase of the Frontliners' PPE. The limited premium collection is only 1000 pcs, with the boys having sets A and B each and were sold out within minutes. Amazing!

Also, the song (IKAKO stands for IKAW + AKO = you and I) itself was dedicated to all those who are experiencing difficulties during the pandemic, be it psychologically, emotionally, financially, etc. It's an uplifting song that encourages everyone that there's hope and we can get through it all together. The song that made them go viral before GENTO was "Go Up" - specifically, their Go Up Dance Practice Video. The song would've been their second and last song...had it not gone viral, they would have disbanded. FYI, Pablo is their leader and main songwriter. He writes the songs based on each individual member's voice and distributes the lines accordingly. He is also known as the "blender" in the group as he often harmonizes or injects ad libs as he sees fit, sometimes spontaneously.
