I don’t see anxiety - I see a young guy who has been burnt by so many he’s trusted in the past. I see a young guy who’s guarding his words until he feels comfortable with who he’s in the room with. As the interview progresses he relaxes.

His body language is so closed in. No eye contact with Zane. I’m glad he did this interview because speaking on his feelings is so healing

He's torn away his mask and he's aware of his problems. That's the first step. Now he can only go up. I think he will bloom in the future! Just needs time.

I truly love the moment when Justin was utterly depleted from his sorrow, and Hailey just comes out and places a filled cup in Justin's empty cup. Whether she did it on purpose or not, to me it was a symbolic gesture saying that when he has nothing left to give, she gives him strength.

Seeing this interview, completely makes me fall in love with Him not for his music alone but his personality. He is visibly uncomfortable, anxious, not in a place to give an interview, not only does he give an interview but to be polite and speak meaningful, the trauma, the pain. Have so much respect for this kid here.

IT‘S OK TO BE ANXIOUS, stop making him feel bad for his posture or tone of voice. Nothing is wrong with him, he is human and talking very openly about hard topics and what he‘s been through. It‘s not easy! He is sick with a desease and recovering from drug addiction and battling depression. Let‘s all be very open minded and as compassionate as this amazing interviewer. Justin is a survivor and every day he beats this is a WIN!

Zane Lowe is such a great interviewer. Respectful but also not afraid to ask difficult questions. He gave Justin a safe space to talk without feeling judged. Wishing him all the best during this journey

Believe it or not, this is the Justin Bieber I've always seen was there. This kid has a heart of gold and that's why he is SO open and SO unrestrained. I wish him and Hailey every happiness and bit of joy in their lives.

Once he starts talking about jesus, hes noticeably more comfortable than any other time in the interview. THAT speaks for itself!

Fame is constant trauma. It breaks my heart to see how badly this human being has been abused by the industry, but what moves me even more is how genuine he is in his search for truth. The strength and the resilience and the love that shines through his words. What an incredibly strong human being. Strong in his love. That's what true strength is - the ability to love, despite all the terror and the noise and the pain. It is only love that makes us see clearly. Only love that empowers us. I think this is one of the worst experiences a human being could possibly have - to strive to achieve something for years of their lifes, all the blood, sweat and tears for this fantasy of an amazing, expansive life that gives you the illusion of the world opening up to you - and then you finally get there just to find out that what looked like freedom from far away is nothing but isolating and lonely. Famous people are probably some of the loneliest people on the planet. Even just the fact that as a famous person you can never be quite sure if someone actually likes you or just tries to get something from you. Must be such a constant brain f***. And heartbreak. And yes, just so lonely. I think fame is a big shiny trap - so big and so shiny because it is such a trap. I really feel with those people, especially those that got into it when they were young. Must feel like betrayed by life. And then all the terror from the media - it is like they are in a really ugly, mean prison with transparent walls and 24/7 surveillance and everyone is just making a spectacle out of their suffering. Everybody sees them all the time - yet they are not really seen by anyone, or can at least never be certain of it. Though there certainly are less sensible and less intelligent characters in the industry that are just too numb to see their situation for what it is and might actually enjoy it. But I think especially among musicians are some very sensitive beings who can easily break from all of this and I think I understand. In the end, they got all the same problems all 'normal' people have plus the fame, which is just a whole bunch of struggles on top. Sometimes I just wish I could love the whole planet and everyone on it into safety and wholeness. There is just too much heartbreak. The human experience really is a trip.

He seems like a really genuine guy. He was a young guy with an incredible amount of success early on and was unfairly scrutinised by the public and media. I'm glad he has reached a place of self-awareness and spirituality. He's a talented guy and I can't wait to see him reach greater heights in his journey.

As it was mentioned in the seasons documentary, he suffers from anxiety. Ive had anxiety myself. As it looks like in the start of the interview he is in a stressful situation. He is building up panic or negativ thoughts. But as he thinks about the questions hes getting asked, we can clearly see him come to a more normal state. He starts to relax more and the body tension releases.

Anxiety sucks. It's real and many people have it even "famous" people as well as mental illness yet people want to put expectations on them to be perfect. How many "famous" people have we all seen lose their lives to mental illness and self medicating. Honestly massive respect for zane Lowe. I could tell Justin was really really nervous in the beginning and zane is a good listener and created such a nice place for Justin to just be able to talk about everything he’s gone through. I’ve supported Justin since 2009 so to see and hear everything he’s said in this interview is emotional. Him and Hailey are good together and I believe they ground each other, especially hailey towards Justin, she never wanted him for his money or fame, she’s only ever wanted the best for him. I hope he truly finds peace and happiness in the years to come. It’s crazy to me that without the help he got he could’ve been dead 🤷🏻‍♀️. Always believe in your faith and trust in whom you worship.

I know that feeling, the slouch, no eye contact, feeling kinda garbage in your own skin.. and then Zane gets all human, JB feels understood and valid. He’s so brave and so genuine and so honest, especially in his position, in finding himself and I find that just very inspiring. This was years ago and Im revisiting this now, so much sincerity out of Justin and looking at him today , such a huge transition. I pray he gets the answers he needs to make his way in this world. So talented and so much more of his talent is needed out here

One thing I’ve learned through Justin is, in this life it’s not about career success, fame, and fortune but the richness you get from relationships and that’s including your relationship with yourself. He has taught me mental health is building a relationship with our spirituality no matter our differences. Justin your music has touched lives from your love, healing, and humbleness. You’ve made a difference in my life through anxiety and past trauma. Your music is touching and I would like to say thank you.

wow Justin, I'm sorry man. I'm one of the people who really didn't like you growing up. and I've never been like vocal about it, but I can see how people like me and how the society looked at you and treated you. How we were all so cruel to a young boy growing up, when he didn't even know the world around him, could have hurt that boy so, so much. Just seeing your pain at 26 mins mark humbles me. I hope you find answers and healing to the pain that you've endured. Like you've said, it's often by running straight through those painful moments and memories that you find closure and perspective. Ive never even thought that one day I'll defend him. I mean I hated him a few yeras back, I dont get why gurls love him so much. But now, damn, I ate my own words. Especially now he got married to someone who is a sweet woman and more relatable to other girls.

He didnt lift his head up & start looking at the interviewer until he started talking about Jesus & christianity

I would say happiness doesnt come from fame....money alone without fame would be better.

It takes guts to talk so openly about your personal life. I mean imagine letting the whole world know all your short comings and insecurities knowing you'll be judged by the entire world! Can we all stop to appreciate Zane Lowe. What a fabulous interviewer. I watched him with Harry as well but I’m blown away by how respectful and gentle he is with an obviously extremely anxious Justin. It was a beautiful interview to watch, especially seeing how Zane made Justin comfortable in the end, or letting him speak without judgment. So much respect.

I am a 50 year old woman who has literally never commented on a youtube video in my life. I am so moved by this interview and the documentary I just shared it with my 19 year old son. I have asked him to join me in praying for Justin.. that his courage and vulnerability will bring about revival in his generation! Praise God for the way He is working in Justin and Hailey's life. I am praying God's power, peace and protection over them as they stand firm on the rock solid foundation of Jesus Christ!

Christians had me hating God. When I focus on God and not Christianity, I love God.

Is hard seeing him like this! As a mother of 4 boys, I can see that he is traumatized, who knows what he has experienced at a young age, he needs a big hug and compassion, a safe space to open up. Professional going ethical help!

This guy is fighting to get out of a dark place.. Gives me chills to see him like this

Pain he mentions a lot bless him x I just saw the yummy video again and at the very end is his young face on a plate and under it it says ‘Yummy’ he is super sweet and they took his innocence with their disgusting darkness. He’s a pure empath and people take advantage of innocence and light ✨ I’m a fan of Justin’s and I hope 🤞 he will be ok.

Saw the video myself and I literally had to watch it when I saw the picture of him on the plate he was so adorable and so young that speaks volumes as to what I hope all those monsters especially p diddy rot's in prison!!!

He is so brave for being able to open up to the world like this. It is a very hard thing to open up and that goes for everyone, but for him specifically as an internationally known person as seen in this interview that he is anxious and held-back just as we all would be when confronting our feelings. I support Justin and send positivity to Justin. I send love through this KZread comment, even if it’s just 1 KZread comment amongst millions, and I hope whoever is reading this feels it too. Love. Love. Love.

I just want to point out how amazing Zane Lowe is in this interview! You can tell Justin is not fully comfortable with talking about some of these topics, & Zane adapts & let’s him know that it’s okay. Changing his body language & posture to make Justin feel as if he’s not alone. A lot of interviewers poke harder at topics when they know the other person is going to react, but Zane did the complete opposite. He wasn’t worried about making a headline, but more so making sure Justin talks about things he is ready & comfortable to open up about. So amazing to see that there still are some beautiful people left in this business! 🙌

his body language and posture is not only being uncomfortable but also a form of withdrawal symptomes coming off drugs / getting sober. So much respect for him for even doing an interview showing his face to the world whilest he's not really confortable

As someone with a similar story it shows a lot to make these changes let alone in front of the world. This isn't fully healed Justin and people like us have a blessed opportunity to turn it completely around. Big inspiration.

i am so proud of him. i know what it’s like to be taken advantage of when you’re young and it fucks you up for life. i felt all of his pain and anxiety. this spoke volumes to me and has probably helped a lot of people. it’s so beautiful that he learned to heal and grow. i have so much respect for him. he’s so candid in a world where people put up a facade too, he should be very proud.

he’s grown so much since this interview, he’s so happy and healthy 😩❤️

I honestly love when he does Interviews like this and the interviewer genuinely listens and bounces off the artist without tryna sway their answers. This was very raw and beautiful, I hope to see further interviews like this. This guy's approach to interviewing and the input he adds in really helped this interview. And I love how he understood that even though Justin's body language was quite closed he didn't take it in a negative way and still respected him and his answers. Most interviewers would've been put off by his body language but Im glad he realised he wasn't like that to be rude and it's bc he probably not used to interviewing after so long.

As a person who has to deal with anxiety and depression it hurts to watch this interview. His voice and his body language speaks so much more than his words, he lost so much confidence in the last few years. He doesn't know what he can say and how he can say it because his words always get twisted against him. I wish him all the best, he is a strong person.

Justin's body language says it all!

I haven't really taken the time to actually listen to this interview all the way through, but from what I can see here. Justin has actually made an effort to turn his heart and his behavior around due to the person he loves and cares about. He understands marriage is a life commitment, but Hailey has also become someone he is learning to properly love and to properly respect because she is his wife. Good job Justin Bieber. This is actually one of the most stuck out interviews about him in his life journey. I respect him and his relationship with his wife. I just hope God continues to speak to his heart and his wife and him grow together and be strong together. Good job Justin. I hope people see what I am seeing in this. Great Interview!

This hit hard made me cry he looks so lost and broken but at same time trying to find himself the fact he has money and fame with anyone they still have feelings and emotions like everybody else 😢 prayers for Justin i heard alot negative things but this really shows who he is and he seems genuine and i hope he continues to make music and just do what he loves to do ❤

His concern for Billie just clearly shows how much he struggled in his teenage years... Getting fame is not important... Using it properly is what matters...! People have used him a lot and he doesn't want the same to happen with someone else...! I love the way he is ready to support Billie as she has already achieved loads in just a few years... Hope she maintains it!

Love this interview. JB is a real person with real emotions, real problems, real blessings. I love seeing this side of him.

Wow. This was so fulfilling! I am so proud of Justin and seeing him so humble, focused and thinking so clearly is so inspiring. God is so powerful and so kind, and in my opinion, Justin truly reflects that.

He used to be so confident, happy, energetic and free. I know life and fame and illness has troubled him. But I pray he gets to a place where he wants to be.

Anyone else relate to him? Like I’m heartbroken for him yet I admire his ability to get it out and cope via this, talking to others, music, etc. I respect his desire to be real and stop the madness. That’s how you heal. Anyone else? No…just me? 😬

Whenever he talked about Hailey there was a different king of glow on his face. This proves that he is getting better and better in his life and he is definitely coming back. I love that he and Hailey are so happy and madly in love with each other and always support each other in their best and worst time and I want them to have just the best time. And the interviewer is also so much good. Actually in my opinion he is one of the best interviewer and the way he talked to Justin was so good. In my opinion I am so happy that Justin and Hailey are together and better than ever.

Justin never lose this. ❤ You preached a better sermon than most preachers. You aren't perfect and neither was King David but listening to this you are a man after God's own heart. ( TO be honest I'm older and never really listened to your music but the truth in you Justice songs brought me here.)

As u continue watching u see Justin loosen up and feel more at peace with the conversation. Zane has some mad people skills

when he was asked, "what father do you want to be?". and Justin answered, "I want to be led by the Holy Spirit" that right there is what I call COMPLETE SURRENDER.... I love how he is using his platform to be a good influence and at the same time, do the great commission! Speedy recovery to u JB in Jesus name!
