My father passed away in 2012. It was a really painful experience... Can't describe in words. Hearing this brought a river of tears in my eyes. I was barely 15 years old when that happened , I wish no one would go through the same experience of losing a loved one. I wish healing for those who have gone through the same thing... For a while I was like a vegetable, but then, in time I started to have ambitions in life again. It's true, even though the scars remain, the wounds heal. Be better to your loved ones while they are still alive, life is such a fragile thing. Love you Dad , forever your daughter.

My brother passed away this March. The trauma I felt seeing what happened, the deep pierce to my heart to the point of shattering knowing that the only person that truly gave me meaning to my life, passed away. I'm still trying to be strong because of him so in the afterlife he won't have any guilt of seeing me depressed or worse. I lost my aunt and uncle both, my aunt died first then my best friend and then lost another friend but then when I was still recovering one night I got a call that my uncle died, he was everything to me. He's always been there for me growing up and I just couldn't imagine life without him which almost made me suicidal but if it weren't for my friends and families I wouldn't be here.

This song reminds me of my old dog, Meadow. I was around 7 years old when we put her down. I was devastated. Its been almost 2 years now, I still can’t get over it. I don’t have very good memory of her but I still love her. I like to believe that her spirit/ghost is still around here. I love you, Meadow.

I just discover this song a couple months after my dad died due a heart attack in his work... it's really a definition of how much you miss someone when is no longer with you, and all they left it's memories... it's the first time I lose someone this important to me, I'm 17 yo. No one deserves this, but it's a part of this thing called life and... we have to go trough it.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a very similar relationship with my Grandma. In February it will be 3 years. I feel it never gets easier you just learn how to deal with it. I dont think I've made it through this song once with crying. Just know she is watching you from above. ❤

I lost my father on July 2020 and it feels like yesterday. I really miss him so much. The thing is I need to be strong and can't express the sadness I felt because I don't want my mother see me devastated. I am really sorry to everyone who lost a loved one but someday well cross that "bridge" that we can't follow and see them again in paradise. Stay strong everyone! much love.
