I have serious problem with the first speaker,he said He never knew the mission,but when they entered the church he was the first person that reach to uwaila and started the lecture with her while the other were pretending to be praying He was not aware of the mission,but he was the last person to hit her with the fire extinguisher He was also the one who took her phone to go and sell. Why all that time he never took the case to the police. I'm confuse oooooo please do your investigation well and let those who are innocent be free, and let that first speaker show the mark on his skin. Nigerian police is embarrassing me. Cant they see that there are so many flaws in that guy's confession? Personally I spotted 4... According to him (Collins) 1. He joins other people he never met before at an uncompleted building and they took an oath for a job that was not explained to him, who does that? Unless a hardened devilish criminal. 2. If they actually took an oath, where are the marks? - crucial evidence 3. He was kept out of the church at first he said, to do what I may ask? Then he went inside to talk to a girl he doesn't know with people he just met... m confused! 4. According to him, he was surprised when they hit her with a stick and he started a quarrel with them. In the midst of the quarrel how did he become the one to hit her with the extinguisher? You can see that nothing is adding up here. What struck out to me the most is that his confession was triggered by a pastor's arrest. For me that's the smoking gun right there!!

Kudos to the Nigerian Police for their efforts thus far. At least there is a Lead on the matter. But further investigation needs to be carried out especially on Collins. His phone conversations weeks before and days after the crime should be traced thoroughly. His submissions abt the others contradict his facts. Its obvious he wants to rope others in. How can some one invited into a crime scene be the one to smash the victim with the fire extinguisher, while d others hit her with a plank?and acc to his statement he was initially reluctant, and then he was later told the girl had died? He needs to be tactically investigated further. AT LEAST HER FAMILY CAN FEEL A SIGH OF RELIEF... May her soul RIP.

Let's look at this scenario : what if Collins has been a notorious person before now and has been trying to woe Uwaila for some time and she refused. What if he knew she was going to church on that fateful day to study and so went there to carry out this barbaric act just to prove a point to her.... What if she was struggling with him not to rape her and he hit the girl with an extinguisher? What if the landlady may not be happy with the girl since she is loved by many In the church (remember ;they are members of same church) she might have grudges against her but having issues with that Collins guy might have implicated her since the guy disliked her for always calling him criminal. What if others except Collins are innocent of the accusation. The police shouldn't give up on the investigation bcos from the look of things, there is more to this! Lesson to be learnt here is to be careful who you buy digital products like phones or laptops from. If u must buy them used. I will advice it is bought from someone who sells them for a living with receipt. If it must be from individuals, it should be well trusted individuals that u know well.

So now Collins says the friend comes to get him and briefs him about some dubious business which is unknown and worth N1,000,000, then they go to the unfinished building where he meets the rest of the team that he is ignorant of and they do the oath (where exactly did they cut each other is the question to ask each of them separately) obviously different pointers will suffice. Then they go to the church where the young lady was reading , others remain outside to watch whoever was noticing the event, then him and the others go inside the church. While the other guys pretend to be worshiping he engages the young lady into a talk ( note that initially Collins knows nothing about this deal so he does not have a clue of what is going on but then as they reach the church he automatically figures out everything and what to do, how does he do that? He engages the deceased into some conversation to blindford her. How does he even know that it's her they are there for? After she is hit probably laying down unconciuons he gets her phone to go and sale. As they get back to unfinished building to share the money he refuses that they agreed to share at N200 and not N150. Then he mentions that they go back to the church and finds that the young lady is dead. The logical precession of events as narrated by Collins is very questionable.

For goodness sake, 'Nigerian Police', can anything good ever come out of you? You seem to have arrested just anybody you can lay your hands on including a mother, who's only crime as I can see is that she has a son who might have committed a crime. I am sorry, this so called confession doesn't add up, please investigate more. This is the height of rag tag investigation. To do justice to this promising young girl, you need to apprehend the actual perpetrators!

Collins defended the pastor in the so called confession... collin has been paid to push an agenda.. the pastor and the redeem church is behind this cover up...

I am not a police officer; a thorough check of this interview, it is obvious Collins killed the girl. Other culprits are linked for other reasons. I upheld the statement of Nelson for now. Kudos to Nigeria Police. I hope they will not rest the case here. It is impossible to leave other alleged culprits until the final investigation.

There is more to this, Collins might also be saying truth, the others might denied him for saying the truth. What has he to gain if he implicate the innocent? You see, that same Collins said that the phone Saler is not involved. Pls there is more to this.

He was found in possession of the deceased phone. Collins might have made it up to exclude “his guy”. Alot of the police’s case is based on Collins testimony.

How can a woman be arrested and taken to Abuja simply because the can't find his son to arrest? Police proudly and boldly said the woman prevented them from arresting his son who is a suspect as such the decided to arrest the woman in place of his son.. I said it time without number 99℅ of Nigeria police force need to go back to school and be retrain. Many of them are unprofessional.

@@atariwinner8115 how did she prevent them. She said her son lives in Benin, she lives in the village, they came to ask her about her son and she said she hasn't seen him in 4months. So does that warrant her being arrested. It would have been a different case if they saw her son with her and she prevented them from taking him and he now ran away, then you can say she's guilty.

It's a pity what the youths do without even thinking. Respect a fellow life.

I think the guy that sold the phone is guilty, but the rest are innocent. The guy that sold the phone is just crazy, and also a killer

Collins is a hardened hearted criminal, he has a heart of stone. He is unbroken. He is full of evil and wickedness. May you know God before you meet your creator.

Police are only in hurry to show that all the suspects are guilty and get commendations from the public. They are yet to finish their investigation and they rushed to the press. I hope they dig deeper and unravel the actual killers. Innocent must be made to suffer for the crime they never committed. I wanted to believe Collins single handedly carried out the crime.

First of all that guy is lying cause he said when they got inside the church he was sitting beside the girl and that one of those guys hit the girl with a fire extinguisher but then he was quarrelling with those guys why they did it but later he used the same extinguisher to hit the girl by himself..if you ain’t in support of what the guys did why did you joined them in hitting the girl with extinguisher and then they went to an uncompleted building where they were supposed to share money .. you haven’t been paid yet but you volunteered to go buy weeds for the guys you don’t know ...mehn something is fishy

This matter is far from reaching a logical conclusion... IMO, the evidence is not substantial enough to spot the real people who perpetuated the act. It will be very excruciating parading innocent suspects just because this is a Federal case. We see!

The landlady isn’t guilty of anything! All i see so far is Collins as guilty , there are clearly others involved but the police needs to investigate and find further concrete evidence and not just go by whom Collins “implicates” . Release the Landlady and don’t embarrass your police force any more than you have by holding her any further. You also need to compensate her for the time she has spent in your custody!

This case is yet to be solved o, so many unclear aspects. It requires further investigation. Collins might be implicating innocent persons.

The first guy that confessed is guilty reading his comments and mind, you will point out truths. Why arresting his mother?? That guy is a criminal.

Collins: I didn’t know their names until we reached the station SECOND LIE Collins: Valentine introduced them to me, when we met at the uncompleted building to discuss the plan. FIRST LIE Collins, you are a liar!!!!! He was the only one that had a conversation with the young lady. Hell, you can tell the ones he implicated were taken by surprised. They are not all guilty. The first suspect obviously implicated some innocent persons as a payback for whatever he holds against them. Uwaila no doubt made heaven. However, "there shall be no peace for the wicked."

Kudos to the police for apprehension of the suspected criminals. I'm however surprised that the officer said they've concluded the investigation. It's quite obvious that the truth is far from known. There are obvious irregularity, the prime suspect is no doubt Collins and he's implicating some innocent folks. You would ask When did they talk about the money, to agree on the disputed sum of 200,000. A whole lot of irregularity people have noted.
