I think he is clean. Jessica asked him whether he ever took opiates again. He said: no, once you have been bitten by one, you don't want to be bitten again

I’m very proud of johnny that he turn his life around got clean amen amen 🙏 and still continue to stay clean makes my heart ♥️ so happy with joy and happiness for him

He’s trying to go to detox and begin the process of getting clean again and he knew it was a terrible idea for AH to go with him. She purposely/intentionally picks fights with him and that triggers him to drink and/do drugs so her presence would sabotage his efforts. He has to deal with her psychopathic behavior when he’s sober and when he’s drunk, could you imagine what could/would happen. And my goodness, imagine how he’d be struggling with both going through withdrawal AND having to put up with the fights she starts with him about dumb sh*t, that’d send anyone into an unhealthy spiral!!!!

I think that's what she was trying to achieve. She didn't want him clean. She wanted him to OD himself so she could play the "grieving rich widow"
