this is so true. when i first heard woman, i thought it sounded like shit but as i listen to it more the more i appreciate the style they're going for it's not cross, but none of their later albums are. they try to go for different directions each album and i appreciate that sentiment a lot.

I'm glad they're back. But with both Justice and Daft Punk, you can hear they really dig that period of 70s rock, disco and soul. It clearly comes out in their music. D.P. without a doubt.
LYRICS: Get up and shake it up It's time that you listen up and hear the call There at the water but at night your're on fire Back against the wall Don't stop, try to make your mark And make your mind up Don't stop, work it out and try to make it Randy, get yourself together Got to get it up to make it better Randy, you don't have to suffer Step outside and find yourself a lover When you know you're alive When it's time Don't shoot low Aim it high When you know you've arrived When it's time Take it slow Shoot it high Hold onto what you've got and strike while the iron's hot Put up a fight Those days are good and gone Keep up keep on going strong All through the night Don't stop, try to make your mark And make your mind up Don't stop, work it out and try to make it Randy, get yourself together Got to get it up to make it better Randy, you don't have to suffer Step outside and find yourself a lover When you know you're alive When it's time Don't shoot low Aim it high When you know you've arrived When it's time Take it slow Shoot it high Feels like the latest version Now that the wind is turning soft and cool Next up a new dimension Find something fresh and someone just for you Don't stop, try to make your mark And make your mind up Don't stop, work it out and try to make it Randy, get yourself together Got to get it up to make it better Randy, you don't have to suffer Step outside and find yourself a lover When you know you're alive When it's time Don't shoot low Aim it high When you know you've arrived When it's time Take it slow Shoot it high

100% agree, people keep complaining that their style has changed but to me they always have their own special brand of sound, I can always guess when a song is from them just by listening to it.

They’ve always had a blend of each genre in all of their albums but some aspects are more prominent sometimes. For example some songs in all their albums have prog rock influences (Phantom pts1 and 2, and stop for this album)

The organ is such a nice touch, it adds a bit of the early romantic era like Mozart as a throwback. Great modulation that isn't too fuzzed, this will be a tough album for daft punk to top next time
