13:45 is one of the coolest things I've ever seen at a live show It's like they went beyond overload and just flooded EVERYONE with light, complete overload, EXACTLY like the song STRESS is supposed to feel. Man, what an amazing show.

@Ian Ray They are in the same league but i wouldnt say one is better than the other, each have their own direction and different crowds. One may enjoy Justice but may not enjoy Daft Punk and vice versa.

I saw Alive 2007 live in Dublin, then a few months later I saw Justice. They were not as developed as they are now, and they have grown into a worthy successor to Daft Punk now, Justice are amazing. The two bands are top tier.

What a pleasure to watch this after getting a ticket for the Paris gig in this same arena. See you all on the 18th december '24!

This show is so fucking sick. Never gets old. It’s like watching Alive 2007. When time traveling becomes a thing I’m going to hit these shows back to back and have one hell of a night!

I’m fascinated by the make-believe these guys created. “Justice” is far more than the sum of its parts and had the potential to become a timeless cultural icon.

@@TheStanley1000 They've managed to put elements together in a way that feels transcendent, at least to their cult-following. Even though individually their music, symbols, music videos live shows and press releases aren't "the best", they seem to evoke a universe or image that's unique especially in the electronic music scene, as they don't really fit in any category but seem to have direction and meaning. Obviously all very abstract/subjective and I think that's why they haven't managed massive mainstream success like Daft Punk.

I heard the beatles once describe it as being able to see your music flow through the cloud like electricity, and have them yell it / clap it back to you in perfect time. It must be an indescribable feeling.

I love the camera work in this set. Lately I've seen a lot of shows where its like camera switches every 3 seconds (or more often) with many close ups completely destroying the full picture of the stage. This one is very good and really captures the "WOW" effect of some of the visuals.

I remember seeing Justice live for the first time in 2013 at Hard Summer Music Festival in Los Angeles and their very first track was "Its Tricky" (to rock a rhyme by Run DMC) and then they went into their 2012 album Audio, Video, Disco which features some of the songs they still play today. Absolutely love their blend of hard rock, 90s electronic, electronic funk, etc. Like a mix between Daft Punk and a bridge to the modern but 2000s old school guys all at once

I may be late but this is the best audio visual introduction to Justice ever!

I had the pleasure of seeing them live in 2018 at Day for Night festival in Houston. The show was was extremely similar to this one. It was my first time seeing them live and it was a religious experience.

same - saw them in 2017 in czech republic with a fairly similar set (they played older stuff as well) and it was brilliant, i even got a selfie with xavier :) at that time i thought that the only goal now is to see daft punk. unfortunately, this will never happen.

@Mega Kid X, I agree 100% with your opinion! The whole show is a work of art in my opinion. DP with an LED pyramid can’t touch these guys! DP sold their mediocre “stuff” with their gimmick helmets and robot performances…that’s what sells. Sadly most ppl don’t appreciate or understand great performances or art..they like a gimmick..so DP gave it to them and laughed all the way to the bank.

They can put on the best live shows , there music is out of this world

@ritzcrackers…I absolutely agree with you! The LD is world class! And I find it amusing that ppl on here comment that Daft Punk had an LED pyramid..big deal! This light show and music is on another level that Daft Punk never achieved. DP just had a good gimmick with their helmets and robot nonsense..unfortunately that’s what sells; instead of real talent and incredible art.

@@binaryfairy4197 their set for 2007 was a pretty monumental achievement and Alive'17 was ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN if uhh.. yeah, the holograms were too expensive. but on the other hand, Daft Punk is no Gimmick. they slammed discoes in '97 and their 2013 album is a work of art.

the LED pyramid was the pioneer. After the pyramid, every other DJ starts to use the same concept. Skrillex with the spaceship, deadmau5 with his own inverted pyramid, etc. Hence, the Pyramid is still the best one ever.

I guess you’re one of the ppl who think that DP are so great..the truth is that they were mediocre at best and they knew it so they came up with the gimmick of the helmets..robots! Their music was mostly a sample on a long loop with some unoriginal preprogrammed bs thrown in…
