OC and Aquaman are so strong on land because in order to survive the ocean’s depths their bodies are denser than humans. The trident was made by Poseidon as a gift to the royal house of Atlantis. It is a powerful magical weapon that can affect gods and morals and only beings with royal blood can wield it. Sort of like Thor’s hammer.

Sam Witwer as Ocean Master in this scene is cool. Matt Lanter as Aquaman is pretty ironic tbh. Both voice actors played Star Wars the Clone Wars roles btw. Matt played Anakin and Sam played Darth Maul.

I genuinely hate it when they nerf characters just to hype a villain. Ocean Master has no business fighting someone like Superman.
