When the neighbor says he has a problem with a specific coyote, it's time to take care of business. The ring leader coyote (I named the Devil) has been wreaking havoc with his cows to the point he wanted them MORE than just gone. When your living depends of the lives of the animals you tend to every single day, it becomes personal when one bad actor makes himself welcome to steal whats yours. I spent three nights waiting on the right opportunity and on this night it finally came. I figured to ease my friends pain, I would give the Devil and his cohort buddy something a little special and on this night his reign of terror finally came to an end. Lets just say he's gonna need knew killing utensils if he plans on killing another baby calf! This happy cattle rancher hasn't had problems since...
Certain coyotes (if left un-checked) can become accustomed to doing whatever they want whenever they want. They aren't just your every day run of the mill coyote. They're specific ones that return to the same killing ground over and over causing problems each time. I've only seen one other coyote in my years as nasty as this one as he had most certainly earned his title!

@@AlphaSierra375 same, I would assume to avoid liability of taking the shot near the cattle possibly by agreement with the owner. Goes to show that patience is key sometimes though.

This particular field has houses in almost every direction less than 200 yards away once he clears the cows. That’s something you can’t see on the video. That was part of the purpose for waiting. The cows were obviously the other. Doesn’t really matter though as they both ended up dead....

Using my AR 10 in 6mm - 284 win I would have shot them long before and with the reach I have shooting a 6 mm 70 grain bullet at 4000 FPS good luck getting away
