An intellegent scientist has to prove his innocence while a politician can roam around freely for doing a scam

Role of Mr Antony should be thoroughly investgated not only by government but by Media.Its the politicians who for their pretty benefits can do such a harm personally as well to country.

This ONE is one of my MOST Favourite CTC Episodes till date. I feel like I just saw a whole MOVIE.

We fucked with nature now it is fucking us back. Plane crashes are not as frequent. Also the victims are richer in this case. Imagine a guy worth crores dies and the govt values his life at 5 lakhs. So a double lakhs figure makes more sense.

It's amazing how profound and impactful India Today used to be back then. How the mighty have fallen.

Casually referring to how the media is responsible "too" is going lightly when it's clear that this whole thing was blown out of proportions because of Malayalam print media. Malayala Manorama, Kerala's largest circulated daily, shares beds with the Congress. But, given that the Congress themselves were in power, they played it out to oust Karunakaran to make way for Oommen Chandy. Anyone in Kerala (except the hardcore OC fanboys) would call Oommen Chandy equally (if not more) complicit in this case as of AK Antony. Twas Malayala Manorama that came up with these sleazy reports which eventually led to Nambi Narayanan spending months of police torture and his wife slipping into depression.

Firstly i salute you shekar gupta sir for writing the truth then about this false case on nambi sir and other isro scientists. India needs more great journalists like you and this incident you narrated is an example for that. Frankly i was in tears when i got to know what a genious nambi naryanan sir is through rocketry movie. Had he gone to nasa then today he would be enjoying life in a huge bungalow & with luxury cars. He left nasa offer and came here and we know what he got for the great sacrifice he did for this nation! Esp his wife dint desver a mental trauma for cooperating with her husband to sacrifice their luxuries for this Indias development. This is not what he & his wife desever. I really liked this episode. Especially that end reveal, that the scientist was Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. A lot of times, it is your experience and the short anecdotes of yours that really make these episodes fun. My favourite teacher used to tell us short stories of his life. I'd be lying if I say that I didn't enjoy not being taught Mathematics in the official teaching hours. But it actually were those stories that were the most fun. And honestly those were some of the biggest contributions, to what I would say is me today. Thank you Shekhar Sir. You remind me of him.

My mouth honestly fell open when Shekhar said that the scientist beside him in the flight who had led him to focus on this investigation was APJ Abdul Kalam. My goodness.

Dear, it was not officials who were behind this scandal. This was staged to stall India's rocket program by people in our political system who are foreign,particularly China, agents. A K Anthony was the choreographer and not only was he rewarded with CM's post but also made defense minister for 10 long and unproductive years in UPA. You can easily understand who was the ring master. This put india back by more than a decade because after this Russia, who was sharing many secret technologies with us, refused to give us any .

One of the best CTC!!👌 APJ Abdul Kalam's pat was really "an icing on the cake🎂" as well as a "crown on your head👑"

Your story behind the real story is really fascinating. Just one thought, was a simple case of political lust behind all this. How did those 6-7 names come together in the first place. Was there really some conspiracy somehere to delay the development for ISRO? That was orchastrated through select players from police and IB and some politicians..Your explanation for the delay beyond 1998 after supreme court judgement is too simplistic. Was there really no involvement of any foreign hand in framing these people? One more question, has anything being done to bring those guilty officers and politicians to face justice?

With each episode, I am falling in love with the concept of 'True Journalism' all over again - it requires so much of courage, discipline and consciousness. This episode was fascinating. Maybe we can do few episodes of these kind of false operations by Pakistan and China against India...

We should strong stratégie to avoid this. Our scientists work for nation. Police and others who created problem to Nambi, should screwed under their ass and hang them. So who all were guessing that the senior ISRO scientist was APJ Abdul Kalam during the episode? What a story man!

I got goosebumps when you said Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. I expected that name.

Nambi Narayanan should receive compensation, but not from taxpayers money. It should come out from the pockets of conspirators who cooked this case. They should also feel the pinch and be accountable for their wrongdoings so we can prevent such things in the future.

Kudos Shekharji for bringing some gravity back to Indian news media....

According to Mr. Gupta's team cover on Delhi riots no Hindus were died including Ankit Saxena & Ratanlal. In Bangalore riots Muslim were protecting Temple from "unknown ppl". Mr. Gupta can thank me later.

It is good that Gupta is a writer/ journalist, because if he was a story teller the entire audience would have fallen asleep within 5 min of his recitation.

Mr Gupta You named the Kerala Police DIG in charge of investigation why not the IB man involved in this hogwash ? In any other country those who had falsely and deliberately framed Dr Narayanan would have been retired compulsarily !

Everytime I think about TP Senkumar, I'm amazed about how that idiot managed to sneak inside the IPS. That he leaned towards the Sangh was no secret while he was in service, but the way he posts after retirement I really am surprised. Do people who join the BJP leave out every ounce of brain before they do? TPS is a vile bigot who should be held accountable for many acts including screwing up the life of Nambi Narayanan. Remember how he even opposed Nambi Narayanan being awarded the Padma Bhushan?

As part of the agreement, Nambi Narayanan has withdrawn the civil suit he had filed before the lower court. “It is a good decision by the government. The civil case has been withdrawn. There is no case pending now,” Nambi Narayanan told Frontline."
