You have to know black history to have an honest approach, now before you go into argumentative mode, reflect on your community, see who made all the laws and legislations, and see how those laws and legislations are affecting cultures outside the western culture. There are too many people, religious and lay, in the Australian Catholic Church who have been beguiled by what was called the heresy of modernism but is now woke politics. In my parish of Geraldton in Western Australia we have woke officials/clergy asking the people pray for the success of the Yes vote. This shocking, racist, divisive proposal prayer is being said in the middle of a Catholic mass! It is being hotly opposed by many Catholics who are patriotic Australians worried about where the wayward clergy of the Church founded by Jesus Christ is trying to take them.

Well said. As a Catholic I think you would be aware of the problems that have sometimes been caused by the Jesuits in the Church - current Pope was one. You are also right that it is hard to put an old head on a young person - they are unfortunately easily influenced by the woke - just look at the schools. Keep advocating for what is right - the NO VOTE - saving our Constitution is very important - tell everyone.

Mr Brennan is extremely deceptive. He wrote the Paper: "Truth, Justice and Treaty", in Eureka in which he calls for the Constitution to recognise Aboriginal "Sovereignty ", which has a very different meaning from what we mean by Australian Sovereignty!. I was so horrified. I replied to it immediately and gave him my opinion on what he was proposing. He went very quiet over the following months. I noticed different people attempted to put forward his " ideas" serving as a front for him. I noticed he resurfaced this week trying to disguise his role as chief architect of the Documents behind the Voice . He deceptively then tried to present the "problems" the government (and himself) must try to gloss over, in order to deceive the people. I don't think Mr Brennan thought his "tome" would be so well scrutinised and seen for what it is. An attempt to overthrow the Constitution rights of all Australians. Thank you Andrew for picking up on it so astutely. Mr Brennan is of course a Labor apparatchik.

Frank Tennison Brennan SJ AO is an Australian Jesuit priest, human rights lawyer and academic. He is known for his 1998 involvement in the Wik debate when Paul Keating called him the "meddling priest" (Wikipedia). Just recently in July 23 this year Frank Brennan went over to Rome to pontificate with the Pope over the Referendum . He dragged an Aboriginal elder over there with him to give himself some credibility and said she was having "reconcilation" talks with the Pope. Meanwhile he continued to throw out across the waters lecturing type statements to his fellow Australians using the Popes encyclicals from 2010 and so on to back up his claims. He urged us all to "feel deeply inside" the answer to this debacle of a Referendum (presumably to find the answer 'Yes' within our mystic inner selves). This is typical of an emotional appeal rather than using the facts and our brains to work out that a Yes vote would be DISASTROUS for ALL of Australia and especially for our Indigenous population. This approach is very manipulative and typical of 'mystery' religions which rely on drama, mysticism and 'hocus pocus' to convince people of their agenda. But then Roman Catholicism is the Queen of all the mystery religions being traditionally recognised by Protestantism in Revelations Chapters 17 and 18 as "Mystery Babylon, the Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the earth". Her final end is assured us by the Word of God (Rev 18) but the true Kingdom of God will reign forever without end says the Bible. This Kingdom promises true liberty and freedom to all men under God and not under some self appointed pompous Pope who calls himself infallible along with all his prancing bishops and Jesuit minions.

Well said Andrew, and good spotting that slip from Father Frank Brennan. He seems to put him self down because of his skin colour, which isn't right. And it is so amazing you correct him with scripture, you will make a good Christian by the way if you ever want to give your heart to God, he's waiting for you. With Catholic teaching it is easy to miss the nuances in our teaching and it can change through cultural change, so we have to always be careful. For example, in the scripture it says "love others as yourself" but Catholic teaching when I was growing up was "think of others not of yourself". It sounds good but it is a recipe for narcissistic personalities to trample all over you and slap you in your face with your guilt. This might be happening with Fr Frank, he is thinking of Aborigines and not of himself and the rest of those of his colour. It is not love because he is not loving others as himself. I think what we need to ask about the Voice to parliament is does it serve us (all Australians), does it nurture us (all Australians)? if yes then all good, but if not all and only some, then it isn't good for the common good, lets move on. Lets get back to loving Aborigines as we love ourselves and naturally they will have a voice as all of us will.

God does not like religious people quoting from the book of life to people who pretend they believe, how do you convert a wolf in sheep's clothing. AUSTRALIA: THE VOICE When it comes to tourism it is claimed over and over again that Aboriginal People have a tradition going back thousands of years, and millions of travellers are attracted by this Culture. Obviously, the links with the past are not industrial or even technical, so why is the appreciation changing with the will to include it in Western Logistics, and turn the larger than ever variety of People of Aboriginal decent into ONE VOICE. If the number of dialects and languages spoken has been reduced, the exposure and appreciation of Western type lifestyle varies tremendously. There was not enough discrimination in the past, now a globalising dysfunction is taking place under the cover of respect by Politicians, who do not appear to have a clue about what connect people to the Land outside finance and taxes. Dramatic is not an adjectif strong enough to describe the terrible effects of this intention on non-scientific Humanities, including Arts. A yes is a win for the Trojan Horse. The Legal adjustments that have taken place in.Land allocations seem to be forgotten in Politics! Corrupt expertise is damaging common-sense.

Sorry but Paul was talking to the Church Christians not non Christians when he said that yes God made everyone the same in his image as we are three parts a Sprit a Sole a Body and we have the same Value to God in that sense we are all equal but we are not all the same Like a mouse trap is made of 5 parts that all have the same value without any one of them it does not work but every part is different it has its own function. But if you look at what Paul is saying there is two Groups Christians and non Christians the difference between them is not Gods Love for them but our Love for Him and His son Jesus. So Australia is similar we the People Should be seen as the same Value to Australia the difference is we don't see Australia as the same value to us. Some think certain groups think they have more value than others and should have more say.

The Catholic Church has finally recognised the devastating impact of their Doctrines of "Discovery", had on all Indigenous lands and the accompanying massacres in the first 50-100 years (900,000 in Australia) in the process of stealing lands and creating govt and legal structures that benefitted only non-Aboriginal people..... your audience asks what did Aboriginal people do for this country???.......it was kept pristine and in its natural sustainable form which supported approx 1 million people for over 65,000 years and 1000+ generations!!!!, There was no poverty, no crime as we know it, no chronic health problems, no environmental problems..... We had the freshest cleanest water..... and here we are just 200 years later trying to fix what we stuffed up!!!

Why and how is the voice going to divide Australia? Many are saying it’s going to cause division but no one is saying how and why? The original Australians didn’t ask for this voice. I do not care one iota how this affects non indigenous Australians. It’s not about you. 122 years and we are still not recognised in the constitution. Maybe that’s a good thing. Do you know how many organisations receive indigenous funding? Do you know how many indigenous people access that funding? No one knows and we never will but from where I stand not all of us do. It’s just band-aiding and turning us into stats. C’mon wake up Australia. Your money is not going to go to the people. I am voting no because the government has been controlling us long enough.

I see loads of people making comfortable incomes from “helping” the Aborigines. (The gravy train again). It is known that far more than the average minimum wage is spent on each and every Aboriginal man, woman and child, and what do they have to show for it, very little that’s what. This “help” is done in an attempt to show us how noble and selfless the “helpers” think they are. Well I call nonsense on that, and wonder about the Aboriginals that have fallen by the wayside to satisfy a need to feel good.
