I *love* black and yellow for greens! It's almost the only time I use black. And I don't mind your head popping into frame at all, for what it's worth. Create where you're comfortable! I *cannot* work in low light, and though I have a tendency to clutter my space, every now and then, I have to stop and do a major clear out. I always function so much better afterwards.

Absolutely agree I find it so hard to think well/creatively without windows light and space. Closed off spaces are ok for menial work and grinding stuff out

I only started watercolour 6 months ago aged 63 I’ve just discovered gouache and I’m really enjoying it I’m not great but love the effects it has x you are so talented love watching you vlogs I’m learning more every day 😀 thanks for sharing 👍❤️

I’ve not painted much with gouache as I find it a bit tricky but you always inspire me to try it again and these little bookmarks are a really good idea. I’d also like to explore painting landscapes so I might give these a try-Thanks Minnie! 😊💜

I am also affected by the space I'm in while creating, well any time really but especially when cooking, painting etc. Sometimes I feel like I'm being too picky or procrastinating. It was nice to hear you are also affected by this because despite my self criticisms, I know if I'm comfortable, I find creating easier.

These are so beautiful 💕 And YES I am so influenced by the space I craft in. I haven't painted for so so long because I can't seem to find myself at home in any space at the moment... crative wise. 😥 And light is important for me as well.

These are gorgeous! You've mastered clouds for sure. I've got to remember to use that Yellow/black/blue mix for such an earthy green. I'm assuming it's Ivory black and cad yellow?

I definitely get what you mean about feeling different depending on the space you work in. My studio space always feel super calm and creative but on days when I can't use it because it's too cold, I paint in my room instead and that always doesn't feel as nice and airy as my studio - and my work sometimes does feel affected because of that! loved this video Minnie, now I want to make some bookmarks myself! 😁

Thank you for sharing your process. I love watching you paint and ink. I'm trying to get better, but it still intimidates me; so watching you gives me ideas and inspires me. I started in mixed media, then to pastels, and then pen illustration. It's been a strange but fun art journey. Keep being amazing. ❤

I love your clouds! I think they are amazing and really speak to me as someone who is a bit obsessed with them. so much so I find myself running out to snap pictures of clouds. even in the middle of my workday. Your videos are always inspiring and the music in this one is just so. hearing the fingers slip in the piano the babbling broom in the last. Thank you for bringing calm to my day.

I find that my favorite place to paint and work on my art is on my front porch! Unfortunately it's only good in certain parts of the year when it isn't too hot or too cold.

I definitely agree with the environment. my environment affects how I work a lot whether its on art or school work. having to do school online was a bit difficult because I was not able to focus in like I can in a classroom or the library. lovely video btw 💜

I love these! I am currently struggling with the fact that my office space also doesn’t get the right light, and the stubborn, orderly side of me is resisting settling up elsewhere in the house... because I already have that studio space. But I will take a hint and just get on with it because its stopping me from working. Thanks for the video! And the reminder ;)

This is going to sound like a strange suggestion but I'd love to see a frog painting in your style... Idk why but I just thought it would look cool

As a classically trained painter with an BFA, I have to comment on the fact that you have the innate ability of an inborn painter to figure out tone and color with little to no effort. That is not to be sneezed at. You have a natural ability that most struggle for. I would also encourage you to work at the colored pencil! Just use the blender pencils. Also the thing I see is that you might concentrate on is composition that you compose yourself. Look at the spiral and 1/3 Composition ideas

Minnie, the bookmarks are so beautiful. Do you work from an online photo, or create out of your head? I find that I need to look at images in order to paint, I can't create out of my head at all. You are such a master of your painting craft! I love your work and your channel.

What is the standard bookmark size??

Beautiful paintings! You use that long and narrow space so well. Do you have any tips for how to make the most of that sort of strip of area to paint?

Thanks love 💛 I think my only tip would be to look at landscapes with a clear foreground, middle and background- so a few different things going on at different depths. But to be honest, I was just winging it with these 😅

Love the first bookmark! What kind of tape did u use to get the edges right? :)

If you’re worried about your head showing, at some points you can use a zoomed in shot in post, like i know imovie even does it. :) great vid

Gorgeous. How do you protect them, since water reactivates the paint? Also, do they crack if the paper is bent too much?

Hello Minnie, for the opening and closing sequences, did you alternate between you're 2 cameras or did you just use one? If you only used one, which one was it? Likewise, which one did you use for the paintings done at an angle? Do you only use the lenses that are included in the links you provided, or do you have others? And finally, if you could only choose one camera to get those shots, which would you use?... can you tell that I like the shots in your videos 😶?
