"Just Let Me Go... I Won't Press Charges!" | House M.D.

House is certain that his favourite soap actor has a severe medical condition. However much the actor begs him to let him go, House ends up indeed being correct - although, SHOCKER, his ethics seem questionable.
Stream full seasons on Peacock: pck.tv/39BlAG0
From ''Living The Dream'' (Season 4, Episode 14): House is convinced one of the actors on his favorite soap opera (Jason Lewis) has a serious medical condition, after observing his symptoms on television. He decides to intervene and take matters into his own hands, but both the actor and House's team dismiss his assessment and do not believe there is anything wrong. Meanwhile, Wilson and Amber have their first argument and Cuddy tries to keep up appearances when an inspector makes an unexpected visit to Princeton-Plainsboro.

It annoyed me and my math teachers in high school too. I couldn't "show my work" the way they wanted, and half the time even I didn't know how I got it, but there were a lot of 50% grades on math tests. All right answers, no or "incorrect" work shown. Pretty much everything but geometry/trig, where the formulas are written in stone, I had difficulty because I could take all kinds of shortcuts in my head. Things just clicked, very frustrating to lose marks for that.

It is the standard exposition on American TV series, especially crime procedurals. You frequently have a car full of cast members arrive somewhere, and only then does one person explain to the others [and the viewer] where they are or why they are there. It saves on the cost of filming a scene in the vehicle.

Fumy related anecdote @ 3:30 - Often times, when working in the morgue, dropping off newly deceased patients, the porters who take the job will return and be hungry, something about being in proximity to dead people makes you hungry... I assume it is a subconscious survival response from your body treating the stiff as a red flag and making you eat to ensure you are ingesting nutrients.
